This AVG virus deterrent is one of the best anti viruses programs I've ever tried, now for the third year in a row. Comprehensive platform, easily and effectively stands guard over all your computer activities, light on your computer resources and is sold at a reasonable price in comparison with other majors like Norton, Total, Bit Defender, etc..

This product has exceeded my expectations.

My wife and have been using bit defender for the past couple years, if bough on sale its fairly affordable. However this year my primary computer contracted a virus and then wouldn't clear it out so I had to reformat the HDD and reinstall everything. When I went to install Bit Defender I received a message that this license key has already been used. I looked at the other computer in our house that was setup at the same time and realized I only 3 months left on my bit defender anyway I decided to purchase a new anti-virus.

As i began looking and reading reviews AVG had a good product and in some cases better than Bit Defender for security but lacked some of the system maintenance tools. This program not only has a great anti-virus and is extremely easy to use it also allows as many installs as I want and covers my mobile devices too. Currently I have it installed on 5 computers 2 tablets and 2 cell phones, I just bought a new computer and will be installing it on that one next week. I also really like that from any device I use I can see the status of my other devices and if they are current and protected.

IN MY OPINION this would be great for anyone with a multi device household or a small or family business I can't brag enough about the level of protection, the ease of installation and maintenance or the amount of devices and types it covers.

This is the second time I bought the product for my Mac computer. Pros: It is affordable, installation was ok, it is not too hard to use it, it offers anti-virus and VPN, can cover multiple devices (including phone/ ipad), and seems to help protect your device through these services. Possible Pros: says it can be used on Mac/PC, but I have not tried it on a PC. Con: the needed product code does not show up in my Amazon account I discovered it was emailed to me, yet the Amazon system kept telling me it was listed in my account. It wants to set up a DNS proxy to filter/ monitor my online activity, but it does not tell me what data it is collecting or what it wants to do with it. Make sure that you enter the product key to ensure that you get all the features that you paid for. They seem to want to sell you more services, so the interface looks intimidating with red alerts of how you are not protected. I do not mind that they offer more services, but an interface like this does not make me want to buy the services, it makes me want to find a new company altogether, so I do not have to deal with a misleading stressful interface. Summary: You seem to get what you pay for, so if you need affordability it is great and it seems to do the job.

This software is advertised to fix slow PCs and remove viruses. It is supposed to be useable for up to 5 PCs/laptops/tablets and or cell phones. I have several of those so I thought it might help. One laptop I have is particularly slow, and when I click on a website, and it just sits there and doesn't load the site for a few minutes. So, I bought the software. I thought I would be able to download it when I bought it but it turns out you have to find it in your "Library". I didn't see any instructions for that and had to contact Amazon for further information.

Apparently, there is more than 1 program you have to download, again there were no instructions about that, I had to guess at it. I downloaded the programs and ran them on the laptop. I could not tell any difference in the speed and the program said I had no viruses. It was basically a waste of time and money for me.
