I took four years of German in high school and a year in college...but that was 45 years ago. Vowed that I would relearn German when I had time and now I have time. I resisted Rosetta Stone because it used to be nearly five times as expensive as I paid for this version.
I'm impressed how they reinforce learning into the lessons (so far I'm only on lesson 3) and teach grammar very much unlike the very boring conjugating of verbs was back in high school. It's fun, it's easy. The key is sticking with it, devoting some time every day, even if it's fifteen minutes or so. I guess being an adult learner in no hurry makes it more fun than sitting in class...but that takes some self-discipline.
