5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT! A reader's dream come true...

I have been an Archie fan since birth, and this latest CD Rom set is amazing. It is a great collection of scanned hard to find comics. Perfect for fans and researchers (yes, I am both!) Betty and Veronica are 2 of my fave Archie characters, and the artwork/stories are amazing. Fun for the whole family, while hip, mod, and "70s!"

Worth the money, especially used. I am glad I took a moment to buy this. Very cool--a great way to revisit the classics and enjoy the comics without blowing a bundle on original titles. 2 Thumbs up. Highly recommended. I hope they make these for all the decades and all the series titles! I will buy them all!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Copy to hard drive no problem.

Other reviews indicate that if you move these comics to your hard drive there will be a water mark across the pages. If there is one I can't see it. Transfered easily to my hard drive and now if I have five minutes I want to burn reading an old Betty and Veronica comic, I'm there. I have windows 7 and acrobat 8 installed on my computer if that makes any difference.

These old Archie comics are really funny, I forgot how much.

I liked Archie and Veronica and Jughead comics when I was a kid and I thought this dvd would be a nice memory of my childhood
but it would not work on my laptop so I sold it back on amazon.

A whole decade of comic book in one disc. The PDF files copy and display nicely on my Kindle Fire and should be readable on just about any device. Quality is not superb, and there is a slightly annoying watermark on every page, but still a lot of fun and worth the price.

the scan job is excellent
the entire brozen age comics are here in one disc
it beats hunting separate comics in the comics stores and garage yards
i loved those comics of betty & veronica
they are the last better fun comics because the editors are now using very boring styles like drama, team-up with known unfunny idiots (scooby doo, batman, kiss, predator, etc), marriage, so on
it is the last opportunity
it is infuriating to see so many really thick books of compiliation books of comics from companies like dc universe, marvel but none of archie

5.0 out of 5 stars Betty & Veronica
Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2012
If you loved reading comics as a kid in the seventies, this is a great way to re-live them. Betty and Veronica are as inseperable, and yet as much at odds over Archie as ever. Today, we would call them "freinimies".
Veronica wins most of the fights over Archie, of course. If ever I wanted to hit someone over the head with a wet mop for not seeing the value of the "girl next door", (Bety, of course) it would be him. Still, Betty wins her share of moral victories, with halarious turns of fate against Ronnie.
It's a wonderful way to step back in time to your own youth.

Several comics in PDF format, which you can read on your computer, or other device.
I read it on my iPad. It does show an "Archie" watermark across it when it's read on an iPad, but it's no biggie. Probably a DRM thing.
Note that these are scanned in, older comics, and the thin ones, with about 19 double pages each.
I can't wait for them to come with additional, newer versions of this!
