My old laptop died and I realized I'd lost the install disk for an earlier version of this program (Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer 7.0). After much research, I decided to splurge and buy this latest version. I love that I was able to use all my plans from the original version instead of having to re-enter all that data.
Be warned, if you're not familiar with it already, this program has a steep learning curve. It's not very intuitive. Once you've figured it out it makes some amazing floor plans and the ability to see your floor plan as though you're walking through the house itself.
