I only bought this because I left my old insulated bottle in Texas. The feel is a little different, but the effect is the same. The level of insulation is significant, but not incredible.
The lid does come apart for cleaning, but since I only use it for water that is not a huge feature for me.

I like CV these mostly because they don't leak. They are also lightweight. The insulation is ok. It makes a difference, but it is not spectacular.

This water bottle is the BOMB! Its well made and fairly priced. Just love the lock mechanism as its very smooth and easy to use....plus has great water flow when drinking. Its insulated and will keep you drink cold for quite a while. A+ and highly recommended!
