I bought these to include in Go-bags. They take very little space, are light weight, seem to absorb fairly well and dry quickly. In truth, I believe that, like similar items, absorption will improve with use. The colors are ever nice, too. These would serve well at the gym, when diving, or at the pool also

I love this towel for traveling but also for home use. It is very absorbent, dries quickly, and comes with its zipper pouch (that also gives instructions on how to fold it to put it back in the pouch). I keep one extra in the car for emergency use (like gettin caught in the rain) and it doesn’t take up much space. This is a great towel for kids to carry in their back pack for sports practice or you can get one just for your pup! It is so soft without being super thick and heavy. It washes well in the washing machine, but be sure to hang it up to dry. It even has a little loop to use to hang dry the towel!

This towel had a write up about how wonderful it was, which persuaded me to buy it. It is a microfiber towel, in contrast to the cotton Terrycloth that is most commonly used for towels. This means that it doesn’t possess the fuzzy, cuddly texture of a normal towel: instead, it feels a bit rubbery and coarse. The towel DOES absorb water decently, but not as well as a standard terrycloth towel. It also dries quicker than a normal towel, and folds up into a very petite package. For these reasons, it is suitable for a travel or camping towel, but you won’t be tempted to replace your home’s towels with this.

My grandson took this to camp recently, and it worked great for him. I got the 60x30, and it was a good size. I washed it before camp, and very little lint came off it. It does dry quickly, and came home dry in his packing, which was nice (no soured wet smell!) I ordered two types; this one and another brand; both worked well. I had the opportunity to try two kinds, with two grandkids going to camp at the same time. Both kids liked this light-weight fast-drying towels. I sent regular towels too in case these didn't work well.

In case the term 'microfiber' turns you off - like it generally does me - these are not like the slick microfiber towels that have a sticky tooth and don't absorb well. Nothing like that. These are very soft and smooth.
