Usually, I hate buying most clothing online due to size and other related issues. However, not being able to find a pair of shorts in my small town took me to Amazon. I like to wear shorts like these around the house, watching TV, on the computer, etc. Nothing fancy, but very functional. And comfortable. The label says 100% cotton which is much better than an older but still wearable shorts I have that are some sort of synthetic. The latter shorts just don't feel well. The only negative of the new Hanes shorts is the left and right front pockets (there are no pockets in the back). They are not very deep, can hold a handkerchief ok, and small things.

Again, the shorts fit well, are comfortable and feel great. Sitting down the bottom of the shorts is probab ly about 8 to 10 inches above my knee, again just what I wanted. I recommend them.

I have a couple pairs of these for lounging around the house and going to the gym. Well made, the fabric isn't too thick or thin, and they're comfortable.
My only complaint is the pockets could be a little bigger, but I do have big hands...

Hanes has long been my go to for this type of shorts. I like these for working in the yard, as well as actual work (I clean houses). They’re comfortable and roomy, and don’t stick to you when you sweat, very breathable. This time, I purchased 2 pairs at the same time. A week later, one had a hole in them, and one hole has now turned into three, plus some of the stitching has come out. This was just from regular work and wear, nothing sharp involved. The other pair still look brand new. So I’m guessing I just got a defective pair, which happens. You still can’t really beat the pricing or the comfort of these.

I bought four pairs of these in different colors. These are good quality shorts for everyday, hack-around shorts. I needed to replace mine as I had lost 60 pounds and my body was swimming in the old ones. No elastic or drawstring would keep them on!
These are lighter weight than the old ones but perfect for my desert climate. Washed well and not much shrinkage in warm water.

These are very lightweight shorts, with pockets that are a perfect depth. Your car keys won't get lost in a too-deep pocket. I'll be ordering more of these!

Seam came apart near the pocket on the side, about a 1/2” gap. I’ll sew it back together, but this shouldn’t happen. I’m 150 pounds, no unusual stress placed on these shorts worn to play basketball. Light weight, with small pockets, and inexpensive. So the pluses compensate for the poor seamwork. Hope this doesn’t get any worse, though.

I bought 3 pair of these shorts that I use for everyday active wear. The black, light steel and green heather coordinate with any of my active shirts. The best feature is the large pockets that fit my phone and house key when I go on a daily walk in my neighborhood. I would recommend these to women and men for their price and comfort.

These seem to perform as advertised. They are lightweight and seem to hold up, so far. Not much to them. Pockets are okay, but do not close to hold your valuables; so be forewarned. They were purchased when on-sale, so that seemed to seal the deal for me.
