Very lightweight but sturdy, zippers on all 5 pockets make these great for going places where you don't feel like dragging a purse. Bought them to wear to the amusement park so I wouldn't have to take a bag on the rides, everything fit into the pockets comfortably. I will get another pair in a different color; these are perfect for summer activities and they look nice too.

I bought these for an overseas trip, I wanted comfortable, fitted shorts that were good for hiking but also exploring cities - these met and exceeded my expectations. Well-fitting, comfortable, great material (pretty water resistant and lightweight). The pockets were incredible, easy to use and you get four of them, and they have zippers which were very convenient for different uses. Very utilitarian but also cute to wear. I bought slate green and dark khaki and they were both cute, like the picture. I chose medium (I am 5'11" tall, 135 lb) and they fit perfectly. I am going to buy more colors.

These cargo shorts are very lightweight and comfortable. I wear these to walk my dog so I need pockets for her water, poop bags, etc. as well as my phone. The zippered pockets are roomy and secure. As to the fit, I am 5' 3" , about 158 lbs. The large fits me a tad loose, but I am wearing them for exercise, so that is a good thing. My only complaint is that the wrinkles from packaging did not come out in the wash. I hung them to dry - and they dry quickly which would be great if you are traveling. I've considered ironing them, but am afraid the fabric would scorch (or melt). But, I still like them well enough that I've ordered a second pair.

These shorts would be good for someone looking for a longer length, lightweight, casual short. Tie waist is a plus especially if you struggle with pants/shorts being too big at the waist but fitting everywhere else. I’m 5’5” 116 lbs and originally ordered size small following the size chart but they were slightly too snug at the waist. Reordered size medium which was a much better fit for me. Have shorts in khaki, black and slate green. Colors are nice. Shorts haven’t been washed yet so I can’t speak as to how they will hold up to that.

Bought these same shorts last year and absolutely loved them. Bought pair this year in a different color and they are a mass of wrinkles. I tried everything - washed and dripped dry as instructed, washed and put in dryer very briefly then hung them up, put them through my dryer's "steam and refresh" cycle (which takes wrinkles out of all types of fabric), and finally tried that spray wrinkle release -- Nothing worked.

Label says not to iron but I finally gave up and steam ironed placing a cloth over shorts while ironing. That worked but who wants to iron hiking shorts?

These have exact material (90% poly, 10% elastine) as my previous ones, and have same fit, but my old ones come out of the washer wrinkle free, and do not wrinkle while wearing. Still debating whether to keep these as I like the length, pockets, and material but do not want to iron.

I was looking for a very lightweight pair of shorts for a trip to Greece. These were perfect. I got 3 different colors. They are so lightweight they packed up to nothing and are very comfortable. I love the security of the zipper pockets. These will definitely be my everyday shorts at home!!

These shorts are very comfortable, lightweight & perfect in length. They have plenty of pockets (all with zippers) to keep everything secure especially when out walking (iPhone, identification, money). They are loose fitting, water repellent fabric, drawstring & just perfect for hot summer days. I wear a size 10, so I purchased these in a M and they are a perfect fit. Also purchased in other colors.
