    We got this for my daughter to keep with her - the parking lot at her college is dark and often has questionable people in it, so we wanted to get her something to enhance her safety there, as well as anywhere else she goes.
    We didn't try out the pepper spray (for obvious reasons), but we did try out the audible device and I'm surprised that my ears are not still ringing - it's LOUD (as it should be).
    I feel much better knowing that our daughter carries this with her.
    Highly Recommended safety gear!

    Bought this for my daughter to feel safe while walking alone at night on campus. It’s easy to hold and the spray is sure shot. Great value for the money the size is not too big to carry around with you all day. Great quality and does the job!

    Thankfully I haven't been in a situation that has necessitated using these. I've tested both products. The pepper spray is good to keep on a key-chain and is fairly potent; however, it ejects within a thin line of range so accuracy is needed. The alarm is (as you want it to be) very loud and incessant. It also comes with an LED light and the audio mechanism has a plastic "safety" tab to prevent being accidentally set off.
