I know it’s just a BB gun and I’m 58. I’ve had more fun plinking with it than all my other bing bangs. Can’t wait to challenge my nephews to some marksmanship fun. Note: It’s not a toy and youngsters should have some gun safety training.

Got this for my daughter. Feels like tradition! I had a daisy growing up and now I can plunk cans with my kiddo!
Shoots accurately right out of the box. Just dump the BBs in and fire away.
Saw some reviews about it not being very powerful, but I of course had to "test" it before my daughter could use it, and I will say it's quite strong.
I was able to puncture full jugs of water from 40 yards. Didn't go all the way through but that's powerful enough in my book for a kids bb gun.
Would buy again.

First off and in my opinion: If your not gonna eat it (for food) then DON'T SHOOT AT IT!! Its a LIVING CREATURE! You might not kill it and it will live the rest of it's life wounded or maimed (SQUIRRELS, BIRDS, CATS ETC.) . Have some compassion.

Soda Cans are great targets though ;o}

and ANYBODY AROUND the area SHOULD BE WEARING EYE PROTECTION

Daisy Model 105 Buck air rifle BB Gun

Great price! at $26 shipped. Good kids starter gun. Lite weight and small for the little guys (mine is a 9 year old) so they can actually cock, aim and hit there target. Not too powerful ...but as always where some glasses so as not to get hit by ricochet (BB's are round and hold there shape unlike pellets that crush. BB's will bounce back if they hit a hard object or background ...especially at "point blank" range which is a DEFINITE NO NO!!.) Wood stock and metal barrel.

Cons: Plastic cock lever is a little flimsy for the little guys to smoothly muster up the strength and cock in a straight line without bending/flexing it from side to side ...hope it lasts. I remember when i was a kid they were metal and stronger.

at about 70 feet the BB starts loose its projection power and so you need to compensate for accuracy by slightly raising the blade of the front sight/muzzle.

It works o.k.. Fairly accurate and you can watch the round going on target. Wish the stock had an extra inch. Perfect for kids. BB velocity isn't fast enough to break skin but can leave a bruise. I got it for chasing critters out of the garden and I usually have to doink them 2 or 3 times to convince them to leave. I wouldn't suggest doing this with the 300 + fps model. Scaring critters is one thing killing them is another.
