5.0 out of 5 stars Strong but DO NOT FOLD *read this*

Don’t fold any of the fiber glass black stick. It will break in half. It was not designed to fold.

Other than that, it was easy to build. The net is exactly the size. It would but hard to store unless you break it down. DO NOT fold. There is a video that shows a man folding it. I followed his steps in which it fold. But after leaving it folded for a few hours, it cracked in half.

The net is fun to use. The net isn’t high quality but for the price, I can’t complain! If you want a easy to build, easy on your wallet net, this is the one you want. It’s sold at Walmart and Target. So it’s legitimate. Lol

It comes with net, the frame, and those metal things to nail it down to the grass. A carrying case is also included BUT that is if you are willing to collapse the net Every time.

It takes about 2-5 mins depending on you, to actually set up the net. Be kind to the net, it can rip if your rush.

Do I recommend it?
Yes

Am I’m complaining about the okay quality?
No, I didn’t pay a lot.

Does it hold a nice hard kick from a size 5 ball?
Yes, but I’m not Messi. It will handle my attacks.

Is it portable like a folding net?
No. But you can remove the net, and disconnect the inner pips.

Are the pips looped with a inner wire?
Yes. There is a inner wire to connects all of the metal frame. There are 2 frames. Each with a inner wire.

HACKED:
I placed a PVC pip inside, just to strengthen the net. NOT needed but it’s a hack. It also gave it weight, so it holds down. The only problem, is that my net will remained connected indefinitely. Which is not a problem for me.

I hope I helped someone

The two pole sets are identical; one stands up at the front (upside-down U) and one lies down on the ground (ditto). The U ends meet at the front, on the ground. The corner attachment set adds stability; the ground stakes keep the goal in place. NOTE: A reviewer said that one of the product videos shows a man "bending" a fiberglass pole and recommended NOT doing that; the poles can break. It's hard to see in the video - I had to watch it several times - but the poles are ROTATING, not "bending." I gently pushed each top front corner across, back and down, as shown in the video, and ended up w/ a nice (smaller) triangle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good sized goals

This has a good balance of size and portability. It's portable and light - very easy to carry, considering the size. It's reasonably rigid when assembled considering how light it is, but it does sway around a bit in the wind.

Initial assembly is really annoying - you have to feed the metal frame through the fabric outer ring, and it's time consuming and fiddly. The instructions aren't the clearest too. That said, this is a one-off job, and after you've done this bit, the metal frame remains inside the fabric (it's designed like tent poles - there's an elastic string inside the poles, and you separate sections of the poles to fold it away).

I do get a bit orientation challenged sometimes when trying to assemble this at the park, but it's usually pretty easy (takes ~5 minutes). Disassembling is quicker.

You do have to be a bit careful not to get the net tangled when folding this away. I had an issue one time where the poles got stuck in the T-shaped base piece (I think a bit of fabric or grass got wedged inside) - it was sundown and I had to disassemble it quickly, and because of the attached T-piece did this in a bit of an unstructured way - this resulted in a horribly tangled mess of poles and netting that it took quite some time to disengage (not to mention needing to use plumbers tools to separate the T piece from the pole).

If you're careful about folding it away methodically, you'll never have trouble with this, and it'll always be easy to reassemble.

Easy to put up and take down. Comes with a bag to store the net and poles in. Only issue is we live somewhere where the wind never stops. We had to buy trampoline stakes to hold the net down. The ones that were included were not enough to hold it. Other than that it works great for the kids.

Took us 10 minutes to figure out how to put it together, then after that, unlimited fun for our daughter! When you’re done it folds super easy, I think for the price this is a 10/10

3.0 out of 5 stars Not okay for older players

Likes: The soccer goal was a good size. The net did not break. The poles did not snap. It was light and portable. It was easy to shoot on and make it.
Dislikes: The soccer goal was flimsy. The stakes did not stay in the ground after multiple shots. It was difficult to put together, and also, the poles came apart when the ball hit the goal too hard.
This product would work great for younger players but is not strong enough for older players.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for beginner soccer player

This was bought for my 5yr soccer player. At her skill level and age this is a great product, but may not be appropriate for a more advanced player. The product is perfect if you have limited space, it folds relatively flat and all the pieces are held together for storage.
The pros: relatively light-weight, very portable and easy to store. Nice bright color and goal size is great for little players.
Cons: it was difficult to reassemble. Everything is put as 1 large piece and you need the right angle to get both poles to reattach into the net. We have only disassembled and reassembled twice so far, so it it possible it may become easier with more use.
Also the net is very light-weight which is good for portability and storage but challenging for play. We found that a strong kick or a windy day would knock it over (we did not try the anchors that came with it due to us storing inside and not keeping outside permanently. It is used for small windows of time and would take too long to properly anchor it). We did put a few large stones on the back part of the net and that seemed to prevent it from moving.
