This actually works.

Mosquitos love me so much that most people don’t have to wear bug spray around me. I’ve tried dozens of insect repellents, from essential oil based to DEET, and I’d always leave outdoor activities with 5+ bites. I might not mind except I have a strong histamine reaction (quarter sized welts) and scar.

I use the lotion version and think it gives better coverage than the spray. It actually works for me and I can leave Mosquito lounges (aka my shade garden) unscathed. I’m recommending to all my friends and any person I see with a skeeter hovering nearby.

Don’t delay. Buy this spray (or lotion). It works!

Great bug repellent!

I have to say that this Sawyer bug repellent is impressive. I really like that it is in lotion form and I slather it on before I go out in garden every day. I haven’t been bitten by mosquitoes, biting flies or spiders. The only time I do get bit is after I come inside and take a shower then I’m fair game for every mosquito around! In the past I was using Avon sun block and bug repellent lotion but this year Avon isn’t making the lotion and their spray is so obnoxious in odor that I start coughing and gagging every time I spray it! No more spray for me. I like this lotion so much I bought a two pack and gave one bottle to my daughter for my grand kids that mosquitoes dearly love!

I hate the smell of regular bug spray and the way it makes your skin feel. I saw someone say that lotion bug repellent is way better so I gave this one a try. It doesn’t feel greasy at all and doesn’t have a bad smell. Mosquitos are really bad right now and when I put it on, they don’t bother me. I would get this if you don’t like the normal sprays!

I feel like all my childhood summers could've been better if only we'd used this.

I'm one of those people who gets 20-30 mosquito bites before anyone else gets their first one. For a road trip in Feb of last year, we planned to drive through the Everglades, so I bought this but didn't use any when we changed the route. A few months of PNW spring made me forget that the reason I picked it was because it's safe even for 6-month olds, remembering it as Serious Protection but mistakenly remembering it might be a little too scary-pesticidey and not for typical use. Last summer I used mostly citronella stretch bands and they worked, but I'd have to wear 2-3 and sometimes they felt a little irritating on my skin. Plus the smell. I should've been using this instead.

I went on a hike on Friday with the stretchy bands, one on a wrist, ankle and my neck, got a few bites (and a few looks). Went on another hike on Sunday and grabbed this instead... No smell, no looks, no bites; it was like the mosquitoes completely avoided me for the entire afternoon/evening. (Ok there's a SLIGHT smell right after application that you only notice when it's first put on your face, but it doesn't linger.) The only mosquito that even got CLOSE to me landed on the inside brim of my hat and then quickly left. It felt like a tiny miracle, no joke. It kept working even after I got home.

Granted, it's not peak mosquito season and we're not peak mosquito territory near Seattle, but it should be in your arsenal.

I might keep a few of those stretch bands around for times I forget to put it on, but I'm buying a couple more bottles to keep in my truck & hiking gear, this stuff was great. Ten stars.

Game changer

This is absolutely amaizing. When applied, it does not have a greasy residue. I'm very sensitive to fragrances so I was glad to discover this does not have any scent. You don't even know your wearing it. As far as keeping the bugs away, I was very impressed that it indeed does. I dont have any issues or bites from mosquito and shoes annoying biting gnats. Toss all your other Repellents away. This product is a game changer.

Bugs love to bite me it's terrible. Always my face with these 1mm tiny flies. Biting season AZ is spring summer. This product worked at first but now I've had it for a year and a half and I used it a month ago and got bit, so it doesn't last 5 years.

Really Works, Feels like Lotion

This goes on just like putting on body lotion, really nice. And it totally works. It takes very little to put on, so this 4 oz. will last a long time--which makes it too much to take on a trip. I wish they had this exact same, but in a 2 oz. bottle.
