    These socks go well above the knee and stay. Very warm, and thick wool. Very comfortable and durable. Great value for money. 1000/10 recommend. I bought three pairs and will buy more.

    Great socks. Warm and comfy, and the fit is great. I have a short foot, and the Size Small is perfect for me. The mild compression also makes these socks . Plus, the soft pink tones are very pretty. Highly recommend.

    My first order I purchased the XL based on the recommended size charge. I'm 5' 10", 135lbs and have an 11" foot. But the XL size was much too long. I ordered the Large and they fit just fine. I think they would even support another inch or two on the foot. The part that covers my calf is comfortable with plenty of stretch available for normal sized people as I'm pretty thin. I wore them for the first time to work today, I didn't notice any discomfort. They didn't slide down my legs, I didn't get extra hot. I'm excited and hopeful they last me through a few winters.

    I bought these socks for skiing. Used them last week for the first time. Very comfortable and warm. At first I thought hey were large for the sizing but after washing the wool shrank a bit making them fit perfectly. Great value for a Merino Wool ski sock.

    I wear size 9 shoes so ordered size large according to the chart. Out of the box they looked too small but stretched to fit when put on. The length is too long for me, running all the way to the knee joint where they irritate me when flexing. They fit quite snug but not uncomfortably so as long as you’re walking about and active, but start feeling quite uncomfortably tight if you lie down to relax. I wore them to bed and woke up in the middle of the night feeling like my legs were the last bit of toothpaste you’re trying to squeeze out of a nearly empty tube. I’m a fairly skinny guy so I can’t imagine what someone with normal or thick legs would feel. I felt great relief after taking them off.

    The thickness was good(not too thick) and they are warm. If you aren’t irritated by having tight socks all the way up to the knee you could give them a try but I’d suggest sizing up. I sent them back.
