    I over did it with running agility trials with my dog and my ankles became swollen and sore (I believe it was more of a usage strain and not really a "sprain"). Before going to see an orthopedic doctor, I decided to try these as a compression sleeve worked for my elbow. At first I thought they were too tight, but eventually they started to feel pretty good and very supportive. If I wear them all day, I do get a bit of irritation at the top of my ankle where the fabric gathers, but not always. But I usually put them on when I go for walks or if I run agility during class. I actually prefer using KT tape, but I reserve that for an agility trial weekend since it can be expensive. But for daily use, these work great. The other thing that's nice about these is they are thin enough that they fit under my socks.

    I bought a l/xl to wear while golfing. I wear a women’s 10. These are very soft and not too tight to cut off circulation. I have bone spurs under my achilles that get aggravated walking up and down hills while playing golf. These helped to keep pain under control. I also used them with small heel lifts in shoes to keep achilles from over flexing. I would definitely buy these again.

    I wear a woman’s size 12 shoe and I purchased a xxl and the compression is perfect for me. I can wear these all day and be comfortable. The foot portion is long so it comes almost to my toes and so does not cut into the top of my foot.

    I've purchased three sets of these compression ankle braces because they really do make my ankle pain go away and offer great support while training. You have to be careful putting a sock over the brace as the front will curl up on you and make it uncomfortable when walking/running. The biggest issue I have is they do not last long. I've already torn 3 of 6 while putting them on. They are compression socks so they are tight to be put on by design. I might buy again but will be looking to see if there's another version available that is a bit tougher material around the ankle.

    I am dealing with tendonitis in my foot and ankle. Ordered these to help with the throbbing pain. Has worked very well, just don't wear them longer than about 8-9 hours. I also don't wear them to sleep at night and have had much less foot pain during the night after wearing them most of the day. Also like the way they fit and grip the heel. Have not had any problem with it sliding off.

    I had a great deal of foot pain recently. Went to the doctor and found out nothing was broken. So I ordered these compression sleeves. Be sure to order your correct shoe size. They are very tight at first use. You need to stretch them a bit to make it easier to put on. They felt good once on. They are washable. I washed them by hand and then finally tossed them in the machine. They did fine. They did not stretch out for me. Still maintained a reasonably tight compression. Don't wear them 24 hrs . I did not wear mine at night.
