    I wanted a bottle that was all stainless steel and easy to clean. This one checks all of the boxes. It holds a lot of water and keeps it cool with the lock. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The handle makes it easy to carry around as well. It's worth the price.

    I understand why people like hydro flasks so much, they really are excellent quality. Does not leak. Will not precipitate (or "sweat") even with ice inside. Will stay cold all day. Installation is incredible on this one.

    However, the prices can get kinda of crazy on some of these. Over a dollar per oz on these things or much more sometimes. While I like the quality, the price gouging on some popular products like these is out of hand.
    Grey for 24 bucks and dark green for 44 bucks... hmmm, me thinks the quality is not what's being charged for here. Supply and demand, newer colors, I know how it works. But still, business practices like this leave a sour taste in my mouth when they are so obvious. It's a 50% difference.

    However, I would not discourage people from buying this product. It still outdoes itself in many aspects. I would just recommend waiting for a sale. ????

    YETI has set the standard for double-walled steel drinking bottles, tumblers, and jugs. You really cannot go wrong with their stuff. But expect to pay a lot and there's rarely any discount.

    Hydro Flask makes excellent drinkware. My companion and I both have several of them, plus YETI. One thing about YETI is that they're a good bit heavier. Hydro Flask is very well made, while being easier to carry. And being lighter doesn't mean weaker. They're very strong. The anodizing on the outside is just like YETI. Very tough.

    I bought the 20 oz wide mouth bottle, with flex cap. This is a great size! It's easy to hold in your hand, plus it'll fit the vast majority of cup holders. Now, this didn't come with a drink cap, with any kind of spout or collapsible straw. But you can get those if you want. The flex cap is FANTASTIC. It's heavy, substantial, well made, and the soft "flex" handle (hence the name) is robust. Plus, the steel rivet ends that hold the handle on the cap is made from beautifully finished steel. It's really a premium look.

    Price? Well, check the history and it bounces around a lot. Most notably around the past 2 months (Sept/Oct 2023) the lowest price of $16 has been hit, for the white color. I grabbed one at that price. SUPER deal. But I'd buy it even at $24.

    NOTE that no boot comes with these. I strongly recommend getting a boot. That's a rubber/silicone sleeve that fits on the bottom. Sometimes bottles get dropped. And if it's a hard surface? You can bet the bottom edge will dent. The boot helps avoid that.
