5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoes on several surfaces
Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2024
So I prefer going barefoot and did just that for a while until I slipped and fell into water when it was 50 degrees out. So I tried out the water shoes. No more slipping. Great grip, good fit and was even able to hike over many sizes of gravel with no pain in my feet! Seem to be good quality, stayed on well when my feet were in water and flexible enough to get good grip on the different surfaces I was hiking over.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have for Coral Areas – Sturdy and Comfortable
Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2024
We recently went to Aruba, and the UBFEN Water Shoes were an absolute lifesaver, especially in the coral areas. The thick soles provided excellent protection from sharp rocks and coral, letting us enjoy the water without worrying about cuts or discomfort.

These shoes are lightweight and quick-drying, making them perfect for activities like snorkeling, boating, and walking along the beach. They stayed securely on our feet, even in strong currents, and were comfortable enough to wear for extended periods.

Whether you’re swimming, fishing, diving, or just exploring rocky shorelines, these water shoes are a must-have. They’re durable, versatile, and made our trip so much easier. Highly recommend for anyone heading to the beach or engaging in water sports!

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and fit well
Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2024
These seem to be well made and have performed well for the few times I have worn them so far. They dry overnight in most cases. Others have had problems with the color running when they are first used but I have not seen that at all. Others have also stated that they wear them around the house but I don't see that as an option for me as they tend to be on the hot side when not outside and in and out of the water. the soles are thick enough that I can walk on most surfaces but thin enough that I can feel the surface texture and feel that i have sufficient traction. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I would give them a 5 star if they drained the water a bit better when first coming out of the water.

5.0 out of 5 stars Longer Replacement Laces Needed for My Wide Feet
Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2024
I took another reviewers’ advice and replaced the original laces with longer l0ck laces, the longer length made ALL the difference on my wide feet, otherwise the fabric’s firmness, the plastic eyelet brackets and the original shorter laces would’ve been too constrictive. In my pics you can see the laces’ slack and how loose and relaxed the eyelet bracket becomes with longer laces, my feet are flat and wide, the bracket isn’t merely decorative, it can be adjusted. I chose white laces even though as others mention, these shoes are a light gray or moonstone color, it’s actually really pretty.

I’m used to non-woven water shoes that have greater width flexibility, color options and a tongue but I bought this style for the soft, seam-free ankle and it feels marvelous. Other water shoe styles have a thick ankle seam (why?) which sometimes eats into my skin.

The first pic is in low-lighting straight out of box, the others are right after purchase, over 9 hours (!!!) at a waterpark; during and after submersion in very chlorinated water, and the last is on very swollen feet and ankles testing a random pair of thin-med socks, even though I plan to only use no-shows. The color holds, the shoes mold beautifully on the foot and around the ankle, I love them! I might love them even more in a size 9. The 8.5 fit almost exact lengthwise, the 9.5 left me with too large a space at toe, a mysteriously unavailable whole size would have given me a smidge of extra breathing space, however especially after breaking in, the fit is wonderful, and I’m a woman with flat, wide feet, bunions and a metatarsal who has learned over the years to cry on the inside with almost all my shoes. They broke in SO WELL and are super comfy, flexible and RELAXED, even after walking, running and swimming for hours on end. Also almost no arch support, which my flat feet love!

These dried very well outside over 14hrs with no change in shape or size. I bought these because I think dark colored water shoes look ridiculous with a bikini or boy shorts, and the super flexible ones and swim socks aren’t a great look either. These are the best of both worlds, chic, fantastic color with a more sophisticated look that does the same job. I plan to wear these as shoes also, hence the sock test, because after 8 hours walking around in and out of water, the upper material began to irritate my index toe which is slightly raised - on both feet.

The grip was great except at one oddly polished patch at the waterpark where I’ve experienced slippage with other shoes! The soles are thick yet flexible enough not to give off that clumsy, stiff crocodile foot look. My nephew has the velcro kids version of this shoe after some ankle blisters with other models. He doesn’t like the ‘boring’ color options, but likes not being in pain more.

These shoes are also awesome because they don’t make my feet look gigantic, or overstuffed, they don’t gap around the ankle, my toes can move, and I can walk tons of city blocks. I do plan to buy another pair. The seller deserves 1 star off for never carrying a size 9, but I am in love with the shoe that I got!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Water Shoe
Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2024
Sizing is right on. The shoe is light, breathes well and is perfect for all on water sports. I purchased these to take to the big Island of Hawaii, lots of volcanic ruble near the water, these shoes performed well and held up walking to the water and were light enough that I didn't notice them as were were canoeing in the surf.
    Highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2025
I bought these for a trip to St Croix. I wore them on a 2.5 mile rugged hike to get to a tide pool that you then had to scale a jagged rock wall to get to. After a round trip of 5 miles, they still felt great on my feet! Not only are they comfortable, they also have amazing tread that allows you to do any activity. They held up great. They are easy to clean. I put mine in the washer and then let them air dry. The footbed is removeable. Great cushion, arch support, lightweight and they are breathable. I bought a pair for my husband also and he loved them. I highly recommend them!
