    I bought 3 colors of these Zebco reels for my grandchildren. We have a creek on our property and they like to try to catch the little fish that are swimming in the creek. The poles are easy to use, the line does not get tangled easily and the reels and poles are Zebco sturdy for 4 year olds and up. Zebco has always made excellent fishing equipment. I was happy to see that Amazon carried Zebco at a great price for young children.

    The Zebco Slingshot Spincast Reel and Fishing Rod Combo is AWESOME. We had the open face which was a disaster. The Slingshot are perfect for beginners and those who have never fished the kids loved them all 20 poles. Worth the money and very reasonable.

    Clearly cheap but should be fine for an infrequent casual. I got the blue and red ones; the red was wrapped up tightly and shipped fine, the blue is just set inside an oversized box. First blue one came broken, got a replacement and although it was sent the same way it made the trip. I haven't used them yet, I'll update the post later if anything is noteworthy.

    Haven’t used this particular rod yet, but it’s a Zebco. They work forever, I have been using Zebcos since I was a kid, a matter of fact I think my father and grandfather have used Zebcos way back when. You can’t ask for a better rod and real for children to begin and learn how to fish with, and you also can’t beat the price. I highly recommend if you’re looking to get into fishing or buy a fishing rod for a child, this is the one to get and by the way adults can use them too lol.

    This product was the worst weakest fishing rod and real I've ever purchased after the fifth day I had it it snapped and never did work right to begin with when casting just an FYI I've been fishing over 30 years

    I bought 20 and intended to buy more, for the flood victims in NC and Tenn . They just threw them in a box and shipped 1 with missing end rod, and the other was broken. I like the rods but sending broken and missing pieces is unacceptable

    Very easy to use whether you are an adult or teen. Durable quality but you can tell it's not an expensive pole. Lightweight so it's easy to carry and hold. It gets the job done!
