How to Apply and Remove Nexcare Max Hold Bandages


Step 1 Prior to applying, clean and dry wound and surrounding skin thoroughly.	Step 2 Apply bandage over wound. Do not stretch the bandage when applying.	Step 3 Remove the paper frame from the bandage while smoothing down the edges.	How to Remove Grasp edge of bandage and slowly stretch straight out along the skin while supporting the skin.

My Favorite Bandage

I have been using these for a very long time. I keep some in the car, my camera bags and at home, wherever I might need a bandage. They’re very easy to apply, I barely know they’re attached and they definitely keep the water and gunk out, even in awkward finger places. The Nexcare line of products are great quality and work. I like that there’s sticky places on all sides of the gauze area. This just makes sense to keep a good seal over a wound. As long as they are applied well, they withstand showers and hand washing, terrific. Can’t go wrong at all with these.

Clever design, good hold, I wish it were slightly more cushioned

I work with my hands a lot and as a result I get frequent injuries to fingers, etc. This last time I was zesting a lemon and zested the pinkie-side of my palm instead - ouch! Regular bandages just fell off every time I washed my hands and didn't stand a chance at the gym. I got these next-day delivered and they're great! First application is a little tricky, but one you figure it out they're great and they really do last a full 48 hours. I wish the padding a bit more generous to protect the cut, and they don't quite make it through a CrossFit workout but they're so much better than a regular band-aid that I still gave it five stars.

It IS water resistant!

I have a scab that I have to cover on the bottom of my foot. I take shower daily and needed something that would stay on while I shower. I tried numerous water-proof bandages and this one is the only one that works! You HAVE to have a complete dry area with no water, moisture, and LOTION! You also have to make sure the clear adhesion has no air bubbles and all parts are glued to your skin before exposing to water. It WILL stay on. The adhesion is so strong that when it moves around during the day, it gets stuck to my socks.

Great waterproof bandaids

Love these waterproof bandaids. They stay on even if I'm really sweating or in the shower. I wear a Continuous glucose monitor and the sensor always falls off so I use these bandaids to secure my sensor on my arm. These sensor are suppose to stay on 10 to 11 days! The ONLY WAY my sensor stays on for 10 days is if I use these bandaids to hold my sensor on through showering and/or sweating! These bandaids are my life saver. I throughly recommend these sweatproof/waterproof bandaids. The price on Amazon for these bandaids are pretty good as well.

I believe it would work to keep a wound dry that's not on a knuckle. I don't believe the other bandages with a thin edge of adhesive along the sides would ever work even on flat skin.

I'm not sure it's possible to keep a knuckle wound dry. Maybe with a splint to keep the joint from bending.

If you’re skin gets thin it doesn’t take much to peal up a little patch of skin that wants to bleed. Holding pressure on it doesn’t do much good. Put one of these bandages on it and you don’t find blood running down your arm, getting on your clothes or stopping you from getting on with whatever you were doing.

The have the best grip and are waterproof. It’s actually hard to get them off but I’m glad because I hate when bandaids come off so easily. You won’t be constantly reapplying these!
