I love this tumbler because it is plenty big, keeps my drink cold all day, easy to clean, and I love the straw! Fits in my car drink holder. Seems to be durable. Would make a nice gift. Lots of great colors. The handle I’m getting used to.

I love the color! It keeps beverages cold for hours! I live in Florida and have left this cup in my car while spending a few hours shopping and my drink was still cold when I returned to my vehicle! It holds a lot of fluid, it’s well made, and the flexible straw is a plus! Works just as well and is cheaper than some of the competitors. Highly recommend!

This isn't exactly leakproof, only because if it fell on its side -- liquid would slowly drip out of the straw hole. There's not much you can do about that, as it's a necessary feature to have a tiny air hole to displace air from the liquid as it's removed through the straw. Simple physics.
Otherwise, this tumbler is nearly everything I could ask for; sturdy, virtually seamlessly designed, and works like a charm to keep the contents inside perfectly insulated for an extended time. Plus, I love the lavender color, and people have complimented it a few times.
The only feature I regret is that this tumbler did not come with an appropriate way to sip hot liquids, as the straw is supposedly "not suitable" for that purpose. Sure, you could take off the lid entirely and drink from it as if from a regular cup, but that does compromise its heat insuation properties. And it would also be much less spillproof. Oh well, you can't have everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Cup

I'm a big Hydro Flask fan and I was in need of an additional cup that fits in my cup holder. I thought a straw one would be nice and found this cup. I love the different color options and loved this blue one the most. I thought the price was pretty affordable for what other cups go for. I like the straw and that it isn't a weird feeling one like some other cups. I like that it's heavy, but not super heavy. The handle is nice for carrying. It keeps my water cold for an entire day even outside in 90+ degree weather. I do wish it would have came with a boot. It will also slightly leak from the straw if you hold it upside down.

I've always loved hydro flask since 2019, but I loved tumblers, and hydro didnt have any. I went through a stanely phase and at first it was great, cute colors, sturdy, trendy, but oh my goodness how easy it was to knock over and spill everything, absolute madness. The hydroflask is everything that the stanely isnt. Leak proof, easy to clean and to screw the top on. Quality is lovely and keeps my water cool like i could leave water in there for 2 days and it would still be cold. Love it :)

Let me start by saying, I’ve had 2 Stanley’s. The reason I got this was because of the story last week talking about the lead bullet in Stanley cups. Even though I know Stanley said the cup would have to be damaged for it to come into play, I just didn’t want the stress of that looming over me. I went looking for lead-free tumblers and came across the Hydro Flask.

This is perfect for me because it’s still 40 ounces, and even though the bottom part of the cup is a little wider than the Stanley, it still fits in my car cup holder. Plus, my little straw cover that I purchased on Amazon still fits (because…germs).

I love that the straw attachment on the lid bends and that the lid can pop right into the cup instead of having to be screwed in. It also looks very sleek because the straw and lid are the same color. The cup is sturdy - it fell over on my desk at work and the lid stayed on/no water came out. There’s a little hole where the straw is where liquid could come out, but I haven’t had that happen in the week I’ve had it - my Stanley would leak from the top of the lid if it was too full/not held straight up and down. So I think the Hydro Flask is better than the Stanley on that front.

One downside of the straw attachment is that it has a silicone feel (not 100% sure what the material is, that’s just how it feels), so I can’t wipe it with a tissue when I get lipstick on it because it makes it linty. I have to make sure my hands are clean and use my finger to wipe away lipgloss/lipstick.

I got mine in Oat/Ivory and I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s both cute AND safe to use.
