My go-to water bottle

This is my second Podium Chlil bottle. (Misplaced the first one.) It's cheap but works well, keeping the water reasonably cool for at least a few hours. I wish the top was dishwasher-safe, but that's really the only negative about this product.

Excellent all-around water bottle

Primarily use this CamelBak Podium Chill water bottle for two actiities: cycling and hiking. Live in a warm, humid place, thus this bottle is used just about every day. It is insulated and helps make water stay cooler longer than have most of the bottles I've used in the past. The bottle has a closed switch on the spout: closed it doesn't spill, open I can use it on the bike and drink when needed. The Podium Chill has a squeezable soft spot which pushes the water through the spout and makes the bottle easy to use, especially while using a road bike. I like this bottle very much.

This is the best one that I have found. Insulation will keep it cool for a normal ride. All day it probably won’t but they make coolers for that. I bought several and fill them all and throw them in the cooler until I need them. I like the way they don’t let water out unless you squeeze them.

Great water bottle for Cycling. Wish insulation was a bit better

I have been using these bottles for the past month. I love them because they are easy to clean, locks well, and are easy to use on the bike. The only problem I had with them is that the insulation isn't as great as I would like it to be. Of course the insulation can't compare to a metal bottle, but I was a little shocked when my drink was a bit warm in the middle of a 24 mile ride. That was with a good amount of ice, but in California heat. Would definitely recommend it otherwise. But if you look in a place that gets pretty hot during the season, I would look for an alternative to keep your drinks cool.

I love these bottles for hot bike rides. I live near the hills and they can heat up real quick on the summer days. I fill these bottles up and keep them In the fridge before I ride and they hold their cool for quite a while. I fill them with ice for the real hot days, or even some grapes for a mid ride snack!

I didn't see how to reply to answers here, so I will just put it in a review. Disclosure: I just received the product and have not used it yet.

I found the following on the CamelBak website:

"The Podium series bottles are all easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. Here’s how:

Remove the bottle cap and make sure the Jet Valve is open so water can circulate through as you wash it.
You can also pull off the silicone drinking nozzle to clean it separately—it will come off with a firm tug, and it’s easy to snap back on once you’re done.
Wash the cap and bottle with warm, soapy water, or put them in the top rack of the dishwasher.
If you’re putting your Podium bottle in the dishwasher, avoid using high-heat settings like “sanitary clean” or “heat boost”, since these can warp the plastic in your bottle. You should also avoid forcing brushes or cleaning tools through the slits in the drinking nozzle—you could end up with a damaged, leaky cap."

Also, I noticed someone answered that it is not insulated. The literature that came with the bottle says it is "insulated to keep water 2X colder." You can actually see the insulation.

Nice looking, but unfortunately it is quite hard to clean. The nipple is quite urr.. big and convoluted, making it full of spots where mold will grow.
Taking it apart is not easy.
The white color will turn black after just few use (from the scratches of the bottle holder).
The lock is quite nice. When it's closed even light fizzy liquid (e.g. Nuun) will not spill. Unfortunately when you open it, it squirts because of the built up pressure (also when pressure build up because of changes of elevation).
