I stopped running on the pavement to spare my knees and joints. Now I run in the sand and these are excellent for running. There is plenty of room for my feet and they are so comfortable without socks. I'm a 10 in womens but sometimes I wear an 11 because my feet are wide. I don't know how well they will last over time but at this price, I would buy them again and again.
