This lightweight hoodie jacket has great, classic style and is the summer "take everywhere" jacket I needed. I have washed and dried it and it came out beautifully with no shrinkage even though it is cotton. The Hanes brand is trusted by me and I was not disappointed at all. Quality, size, price, style are all exactly what I expected. Highly recommend.

This is a great lightweight hoody that is perfect for up to 70F. I mostly wear it in the morning as they are cooler. Long sleeves which I like because I have long arms. I am 6'1" and it fits me perfectly to the hips. Bought two of them to alternate. Highly recommend it if you want a very lightweight and comfortable hoodie.

I bought this knowing it was very light weight and thin. I wanted something light as a cover up for the spring through the fall. I get overheated easily and this was perfect for not adding to my heat issues.
The only con was the sleeve cuffs are a little tight. (I do not have big forearms.) The rest of the hoody fit great though and its soft. It laundered well, but I did use the no cool dry fuctiin on the dryer to prevent shrinkage. I am probably going to purchase another one.

This is exactly what I was looking for - an inexpensive, basic, 100% cotton, light weight hoodie for the summer. I bought 2 of them (black and teal) and I'll definitely be buying more. The material is a thin slub knit, very much like a t-shirt, and the medium is a perfect fit for me (5'8", 140 lbs). Sometimes, all you need are the classics and Hanes is just that.

I ordered this in a few colors when they went on sale. I wasn't expecting much considering the brand and price so I wasn't very disappointed when they arrived and the quality seemed so-so. I was mostly looking for a lightweight jacket to throw over leggings and a t-shirt for quick errands or to wear for yard work/gardening without being too hot but getting some cover from the sun too. I think I got what I wanted though I'd warn these are extremely thin and I doubt they will hold up for very long. I read they were t-shirt material but I think that's an overstatement. If I bought a t-shirt as thin as this I'd return it immediately because it would be see through. The white jacket is see through. I was wearing a navy tank top when I tried it on and you see the dark color very clearly through the jacket, I'd only wear the white with a pale shirt underneath otherwise it looks cheap. I had a fair amount of loose strings on the jacket and several hanging off the seams that I either tied off or trimmed. Amazon recommended a large but I ordered an x-lrg thinking I'd like it looser for working outside or casual errands. If I had to order again I would of just gone with the large, I think they run a size up based on how it fits, but I'm not exchanging them as they'll work fine for my intended purposes. Lastly, these are very long jackets. If you're average height looking to cover your tush, these will work very well. I'm 4'10, which I know makes me an outlier, but anyone around 5ft should know with a loose fit these jackets will hit mid thigh.

This is a really cute, light weight, slightly see through hoodie. It's soft and has a slightly visible weave which makes it look a bit fancier than a normal hoodie. I gave it as a gift and my friend really loved how it fit and how comfortable it is.

I love these Hanes slub cotton hoodies. I have five in different colors. I wear them year round, usually as a set with my Hanes slub tees. The material is featherweight yet excellent quality and is soft and comfortable. I find the sizing and fit to be great. If you’re looking for a change from a cardigan or want to add a light layer, these are so nice. Great quality for the price. Highly recommend.

I bought this on a whim because it was so cheap. It fit great (I ordered a size bigger than normal, so it might run small) and looks good. I’m giving it for stars because it was much thinner than I expected. I’ll still wear it, just not in cold weather.
