I recently bought the Auto Joe 24V-AJC1-LTE-P1 24-Volt IONMAX Cordless Portable Air Compressor Kit, and I'm really glad I did. I was on a road trip with my family when one of the tires on our car started to lose air. We were in the middle of nowhere, and there were no gas stations or repair shops in sight.

I remembered that I had brought the Auto Joe air compressor with me, so I quickly set it up and started inflating the tire. The compressor was very easy to use, and it inflated the tire in a matter of minutes. We were able to get back on the road and continue our trip without any further problems.

I don't think anyone should get in a vehicle without an air compressor in case of leaking tires.
I've used several cheap ones for years with mixed results.
Seems that every "cigarette lighter" in every vehicle I've owned eventually all go out. So, if you have one of those tire inflators that requires that, you're screwed.
Then, a friend of mine showed up one day with one of these rechargeable ones and I was blown away. No cord!
So, I just had to get me one. After a couple of tries I ended up with this company's version.
It's great, it's dependable.
Pros:
1. Portable, lightweight
2. Rechargeable, no cord needed (although a cord is provided as an alternative)
3. Automatically shuts off at the exact amount of pressure you need.
4. Convenient built in flashlight.
You get it.
My mother saw mine and wanted one, so I got her this one for Christmas, just like mine!

this is my second one as the first ones hose cracked being folded over in storage. However it works like a charm.... just don't fold it over.

Product works just fine and is easy to use. But it does not come with a hard case for storage as is shown in the picture. The description does indicate a storage “bag” but I only noticed that after I received it. My fault for not reading more closely but the picture is definitely misleading.

This Auto Joe Cordless Portable Air Compressor has made it so easy to check the air in my car's tires. I love the cordless feature and I appreciate not having to start my car to use it. The battery lasts a long time, plus I can use the battery for other Snow Joe products. The air compressor turns itself off when it reaches the set pressure, and then I use a separate air-pressure gauge to check the tire's pressure and make any needed adjustments. I wish the air cord to reach the tire valve was a bit longer, though. Sometimes I have to hold the air compressor while the air is pumping. That's okay. It pumps the air fast, and the task is finished fast!

This is great for the car. Defyget your wife one. Had a flat, I was able to put air in it to get to the gas station. Handy to have, for sure and very easy to use.
