I use this filter in my kitchen. I run all my filters 24/7. I change the filters every 6 months and clean the outer prefilter every two months. I have used other brands but they were lower quality. This OEM replacement filter is much better. The outer prefilter has a finer mesh which helps the main HEPA filter perform more effectively. The charcoal filter does a decent job and removing odors, I truly don't believe there is one on the market to remove 100%.

Levoit rocks. My little Levoit air purifier makes my work area a delight to be in....and the filters work wonderfully every time. My sure that you purchase the filter from the manufacturer, otherwise, your air purifier won't work as designed and you may get some annoying red lights on your machine.

This is a genuine replacement part and a great fit. There is zero odor when opening the new filter. You just remove the old filter by sliding it out and sliding the new filter in. Doesn't matter which way it’s facing. It’s very easy and simple. Dummy proof.

I bought thi air purifier because my sis-in-law & her son were pressing me to buy an expensive Dyson because it supposed,y kills formaldehyde , a known carcinogen.
This brand claims to get rid of "VOCs". Of which formaldehyde is one.
This purifier is super affordable, and. Liam's to cover over 900 sq. Ft! Our floor plan is too chopped up to take advantage if that fact.
Anyway, I wanted to try this option to see if I even wanted to pursue this. We bought a house and had some construction done to it before & after we moved in. I kept choking on the smell of shaved wood/ sawdust every time I entered the living room, which had the most work done.
After leaving it on Low overnight, the room's air was much easier to breathe.
I move it from room to room, wherever I plan to stay for a while. I really like it.

We bought an air purifier for my daughter for college and it was used 24/7. It really improved the air quality and collected so much dust that she would remove the filter each week and wipe it down. We replaced it every 3 months. I would definitely recommend.
