I’m organizationally obsessive when it comes to tools. My grandpa taught me “a place for everything and everything in its place”. His tools were always easy to find, and his workshop was a joy to work in.
I have a wonderful toolbag, with lots of pockets along the sides, but there were still many tools that had no place and ended up loose in the bottom of the bag. Digging through those miscellaneous tools was always annoying, but I didn’t know what to do about the problem. I avoid plastic whenever possible, so I didn’t want to buy plastic boxes or pouches. I had some tools grouped together in small boxes, but cardboard boxes don’t last long.
So I was delighted to discover the Ryker bags; they are a quality product, and a perfect size for medium to small items. The fabric is one that should wear well. There is reinforcing stripping along the bottom fold of the bag as well as along the zipper. The weakest link might be the stitching along the seams and zipper, but even it looks good. The zipper pull and the clip are both metal.
The reflective strip across the top of the bag is a nice touch. Makes the bags easier to locate in the bottom of a toolbox/bag.
If these were manufactured in a non-authoritarian country, I would have given them 5 stars. They are made in CHINA, so I have reduced that rating to 4.
