These vent deflectors are exactly what I needed. After comparing at least 20 other brands before buying, I’m really glad I bought these. They’re not flimsy. Quite the opposite. The curve of the deflector has the largest disbursement pushing the air out a little further than others The magnets are super strong and heavy duty. Installation, performance, appearance and value are superior.

Fantastic solution to directing the airflow from the metal ceiling vents in our finished basement.

A couple of our basement AC/Heat magnetic ceiling vents are over the bar and over my husbands work desk, two places we want air/heat flow but not directly blowing down. (The vents have sliders to theoretically direct air flow, those are fairly useless). These magnetic vents are the perfect solution - they stay in place, very secure strong magnets, and we can direct the air flow outward and away. Currently my husband had duct tape over the vent above his desk - one of these vent covers is a much better solution than that "fix".

We also have these on a couple floor vents. Those are wooden, so the magnets don't work, but it's not an issue. They also work great for vents covered by a bed or taller piece of furniture - allows the air the be moved outward vs up into the furniture. We also have a vent behind a couch, in the summer I can't stand the cold AC blowing up the back of the couch, this vents it toward the wall - and in the winter now we turn the cover around to ease the heat across the floor more.

Definitely recommend!

These are definitely better than others I have bought in the past. The plastic seems thicker than many others I've bought, so I'm hoping these will hold up better as well. The molded in stop to prevent the two halves from coming apart unintentionally was definitely a huge plus--others I've bought had a tendency to come apart at the slightest bump from a foot or the vacuum cleaner. The magnets are quite hefty, and do a great job of holding the deflectors to the floor registers. Finally, these were very nicely packaged in a single box, with the individual deflectors separated by a sheet to keep them from rubbing against one another. All in all, a solid buy.

These deflectors make spreading the air from my registers much easier. I notice that my rooms cool faster than they did before, especially with the use of a ceiling fan. The magnetic function keeps them in place and with the adjustability, they can fit any and all my registers.

The construction seems very durable. The four pack is a good value that's worth the money.

These work great if you have metal floor/wall vents to redirect the airflow, but a simple missed step from a pet or child causes them to fly apart into two pieces you have to slide back together.

The magnets also pop out constantly and stay attached to the vent diffuser.

Simple improvements could be made to put a plastic dimple in the magnet slot so it would easily fall out and put some kind of simple "stop" tab on the sliding part so the two pieces can't come apart so easily.

They do a decent job of redirecting air 90 degrees though if you end up with a vent under an entertainment center or a bedroom nightstand.

You will notice how the temp changes in the room just from having better airflow.

In a little kids room? Good luck. We have put it back together dozens of times to keep in on the vent.

Some vents in my mother's home were in some challenging places. With furniture placement and all, these items help to direct airflow. They also adjust to vent lengths which allow them to fit different sizes.
