5.0 out of 5 stars A bit more expensive, better battery life, runs cooler than others
Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2024
In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge.

When I get one of these pumps, I always test it the same way. I fully charge the battery. I completely deflate a 195/60 R15 tire. I verify that the pressure reads 0 when I connect the pump. I set the pressure cutoff to 36 psi. I start inflating and time how long it takes. I also access the how warm/hot the device is after inflation is complete and how much battery remains. During the test, I assess whether the pump appears to be straining, pumping less air, slowing down, not making as much noise, etc.

I compared this pump to a similar pump. The other pump was cheaper, but I actually thought it would be better. It looked nicer, came in a hard shell case, included both a screw type and clamp type hose, and an adapter for using from a 12V battery. One thing that was immediately obvious was that the display with the pump being reviewed was much brighter. Now the display was not very bright but readable, whereas the other pump's display was difficult to read.

The pump being reviewed only includes a clip hose; however, it is above average quality and easier to operate than most.

Both pumps took approximately 9 1/2 minutes to inflate the tire. The pump being reviewed was cool to the touch and indicated 75% remaining charge. The junction where the inflator tube attaches to the pump was hot to the touch. The air output was constant during the inflation and there was no drop in sound level indicating that the battery had plenty of juice left.

The other pump was warm afterwards and had about 33% of remaining battery; it's inflation tube was also hot. After 3-4 minutes of inflation, it began to slow down. Prior to that I thought it would significantly outperform the pump being reviewed. It slowed down so much that I didn't think it would reach the 36 psi.

Now if you have a spare and you haven't paid attention to the inflation pressure over the years, it is going to be low maybe somewhere between 10-20 lbs, but unlikely to be completely flat. So my test is an extreme case. That being said, I would still prefer to have the extra reserve. There is always the option of running the other pump from your 12v battery, since it includes an adapter. However that is a bit inconvenient.

4.0 out of 5 stars It works.....
Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2024
I really struggled with giving this 3 or four stars. I ended up going with 4 because ultimately, it does work...albeit slowly. Here's the good, it was packaged nicely. The unit itself was much smaller than I was expecting. It would fit nicely in a glove box or console. It was half charged when I got it, but I threw it on the charger to get a full amount before I used it. It comes with a nice little bag and extra bits for basketballs, footballs, etc.. I honestly don't know how long it took to charge to full, I just left it overnight. The next day, I gave it a whirl. I tried it out on my SUV. I drive a Nissan Pathfinder and my tire light was on. I checked tires before hand and all of them were low...the driver rear in particular. It was 12lbs low! So I hooked up the inflator, turned it on, set the pressure, and let-er rip!!!

And then I waited...and waited...lol Now I wasn't expecting this to inflate like my air compressor or anything , but I hoped it would be a little faster. It took at least 15 minutes to get my tire up to 37psi. So then I moved to the front driver side, it was only 4lbs off. After a couple of minutes, it shut off. Apparently after letting it run for so long, it overheated. Luckily there seems to be a safety switch that keeps it from over heating...which is nice. So I let it cool off a while and went back too it. I filled all 4 tires to 37psi...or so I thought. After the inflator was finished, I went through and checked all the tires and none of them were at 37psi. The first tire was at 40! The others were all off too, by a pound or two above OR below the desired setting.

Again though, it did work. And I believe it would work in a pinch if you needed just a little bit to turn a light off on your dash...or fill a basketball. If your tire was completely flat though...IDK to be honest. Maybe if you jacked it up so there wasn't so much weight on the tire???? Either way, it's going to take a while.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aired Tires without the Cord
Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2024
The unit feels sturdy and comes with all the accessories needed for more inflating needs.
Featuring a USB-C charger, it's easy to keep it topped off in the car ready to go and save the need of fetching a 12v outlet inflator or dig around for a tool battery for most cordless inflators. It also comes with a neat felt bag to keep everything together.
In regards to function, I've been able to top off all four of my vehicle tires on a charge, so I'm happy with the battery life, it was easy to figure out even without the instructions, but it's a good idea to go over the features as there is some vagueness with the button functionality.
I haven't had an issue with the quick attach hose, but I was a bit disappointed that it seems you're expected to use the other attachments straight to the unit, and I worry about replacement parts not easily fitting the device.
I've considered whether to keep it in the vehicle in a glove or utility compartment, as it's listed to store in a condition under 150°F and considering I reside in Texas, it can get quite hot. May consider your carrying options of the device if this is your intention.
Overall, it does as advertised and works as well as other compact inflators, taking about as much time as corded units, with the benefits of a digital display rather than a needle gauge. The mobility is a big perk, as you don't need to fumble with cables or lengthy hoses.
