It was very easy to set up you don't have to worry about Wi-Fi you can just turn it on and off soon as you plug it in, so far the battery life seems to be good the buttons respond easily and works well now I don't have to get up to turn off the light. And it's built well hopefully it lasts. I also ordered the same brand but it controls three Outlets

Being able to remotely turn the light off and on is so convenient. I bought a single plug and when I move, will buy more for every room. I leave the remote by the doorway so no more entering a dark room. And it was very inexpensive. This would make a great gift.

This remote control for light switches works very well. I plugged in the three receivers into outlets and they turned off and on with no programming needed. The range works well. I stood in the street in front of my house and the remote turned on my living room light right away. I recommend this product.

I have chronic pain and other issues and I got this to be able to turn the light off in my room when I need to take a nap in my chair without getting up. But it’s also helpful when my eyes feel very tired and I just need a break from the light. It works very well and I’m very happy with it.

This worked from upstairs even with my bedroom door shut. So there's no issue with it reaching and connecting to the light or item it's plugged into. I have not had any issues with turning off and on, or battery or anything at this point. I would buy more but this is the only light I really needed it for.

EDIT AND UPDATE: It WAS user error on my part. I bought a different but similar remote and I was not holding the button down long enough, which I discovered by reading the instructions that came with the new and different but very similarly operated remote. When I tried it with my old ones, they both worked. So I upgraded to 5 stars because it works fine.  

It was truly plug and play for the first year. (I used it for turning xmas tree on and off). But this year I can't get it to perform as it did. I've tried the learn button which will make the lights turn on but it won't cooperate with remote. and yes I checked the battery and the indicator lights also work, they just won't operate the plug. Could it be user error? Yes, but I can't find anything about this product to fix this issue. That's why 4 stars. But it did work great for a year which isn't bad for the price.
