The compartments are pretty convenient in size and flexibility, but the dividers are not quite as firm as I'd like. I keep a board gaming bank in the case, and pulling out a bag of coins will often pull out a divider. Still, the little channels in the underside of the lid keep things from spilling over from one compartment to another pretty well. I don't regret buying it, but I will probably buy a different case for actual nuts and bolts and screws.
