I bought these a year ago. Thought I'd do a follow up review. - They still work as good as day 1. The neighbors electric wired lights come on at the same time as mine each night (at dusk) and they charge just enough sunlight during the day to go out at the same time as theirs in the late evening (11:00pm ). The only difference is that mine costs nothing to operate. Surprisingly the light doesn't fade over a long period at the end of the day. It takes about 30 minutes to go from full strength to out. They are not too bright and the light level has three adjustments. Best solar lighting have owned. Be smart about your placement and light level and you can create a professional look and feel.

I have these installed on my walkway and backyard area. They have worked throughout the winter without any problems. We've had some severe winds, rain, and snow, and these lights are still working. I would say in terms of durability, they work great. My dog also loves peeing on them and hasn't been able to break them. I don't know how they will hold up to physical abuse though as we haven't had anyone or thing kick them or fall on them yet.

I do wish they were brighter and had better light spread. They have three brightness modes. In the backyard, I have them on the highest setting, but the light is still not adequate to watch my dog roam around at night. Two or three of these on highest setting should be good enough for illuminating the deck.

I did notice in the winter, after several days of cloud and snow, the light did get dimmer. That's to be expected though since these run on solar. If you don't get much sunlight, putting the light on the lowest setting would allow it to last longer. I have never had a night where the light was completely out.

Overall, they're super simple to set up. I just stuck it in the ground, pressed the brightness button a couple times, and now I get automatic light outside without any wiring.

For the price you can’t beat these solar lights.

My neighbors have beautiful color lights under their eaves and they’re not cheap! So I decided to go with solar up lights. I put 3 in the front yard and 3 in the back. Out of the box they were charged and ready to go. Quality, bright light. We have a streetlight that casts some light in our front yard but you can still see the great color.

Even if I get only one season out of them (and I hope they last longer), they were well worth the money.

Great led bright lights! In due time the lights don't stay waterproof. I have had to replace the lights every year due to them not being waterproof after months of use, and determination, However, I buy them every year because they are nice and bright. In all fairness I live in a harsh climate and don't expect longevity. This solar light is nice and bright and stay bright though-out the night. Easy to assemble. Motion detection is excellent.
