First off, it feels solid. It's not some flimsy plastic thing; at 1-1/4 pounds, it's got some weight to it, which I think is a good thing. It makes it feel more durable. The battery, a 25 AmpHour beast, seems to last for a good amount of inflation and even has a USB-A port which is clutch for charging my phone. Charging it is easy enough with the provided USB-C to A cable, though the cable is a bit short, only 14 inches.
I've used it to bump up the pressure on my tires as you can see on the video, and it was pretty quick. Took 2min and 10s to go from 28 PSI to 34 PSI, which is awesome. One reviewer said they went from 5psi to 35psi in under 4 minutes and still had half the battery left, so you know it packs some power. The pressure hose has decent connectors, though I can see how screwing it on and off quickly could be annoying. However, it's light enough that hanging it from the tire stem during use doesn't seem like it would cause a problem. I like to get a snap on adaptor. Its a little extra money but especially at night is is a life saver.
The built-in LED light is helpful, especially when I’m trying to inflate tires in the dark and for whatever reason I can reach my phone. It has a few modes - steady on, slow blink, and fast blink - which is great for emergencies. The only minor complaint I have with the device is the placement of the power button being right next to the light button. It can be easy to hit the wrong one, but it's not a huge deal. I also appreciate that it comes with a car adapter in case the battery is low. I have yet to need it, thankfully.
It’s got different tips for different uses, which is also convenient. I’ve heard it's great for bikes and other inflatables, and I can totally see that. I know one person said they use it for mountain biking and even strap it to the bike frame, which is cool. Speaking of bikes though, a big drawback is that the connection point to the tire stem is too tight, causing air loss when you unscrew it. Definitely not ideal.
Now, a couple of things to keep in mind. It’s not the quietest thing, as one reviewer mentioned they measured 76 dB at five feet, about as loud as a washing machine, so it’s going to be noisy, as ANY other tire inflator. I've never seen one that is quite. Also, the inflation tube can get pretty warm when you’re using it, so you’ll want to be mindful of that, especially if you're planning on inflating multiple tires. Here the snap on adaptor comes again very handy. Finally, the included storage bag is a joke. It’s way too small to fit everything, and the whole “toss it all in” thing feels cheap. I'd definitely prefer something with built-in storage.
Even with these minor drawbacks, it is a solid piece of equipment. It's compact enough to keep in my car or even on my bike, and having a way to inflate my tires when I need it without having to wait for roadside assistance is a huge relief. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little extra peace of mind. I mean, several other people gave this product really great reviews. Overall, this is a lifesaver and definitely worth the price.
