I was skeptical at first because it's so small but I have used it several times and it works perfectly and you don't have to have it plugged in to the car. just charge it up. it's great to keep with you for emergencies and it doesn't take a lot of room. very easy to use. really it wasn't too expensive which was also impressive.

Using it is a breeze – plug it into your car's outlet, attach it to the tire, and press a button. Boom! Your tire is on its way to being roadworthy again. The compact design means it doesn't hog much space in the trunk.
Compared to other portable air compressors, this one is efficient and gets the job done. It's not the fastest, but it's reliable. The LED display is a nice touch for keeping track of the pressure.
The reason for the 4 stars is that the power cord could be a bit longer for reaching the rear tires without wrestling with the cable. Also the device itself can get pretty hot after a couple of minutes.

I was pleasantly surprised with this air compressor. Its small, light, and handled car tires with ease. I moved the PSI in all four of my tires from 30 to 40 PSI. It did all four on a single charge. Once it gets to the desired PSI (what you program; or the default) it shuts off. I just turned it on, and waited until it shut off. It also gives you the PSI in the tire once you connect it. The only downside is that it is loud. There will be no stealthy air filling with this one. I am happy with this purchase, and will purchase a few more to give as gifts--I am that impressed.

Surprisingly powerful for such a small, lithium-ion battery-powered device

When I first opened up the package and saw how small the device was, I worried that it would be underpowered. But I let it charge fully and tried it out on a large exercise ball, and it had no problem inflating it, and did so surprisingly quickly. The written instructions that come with the device are pretty terrible (transliterated Chinese), but thankfully the buttons are pretty self-explanatory for changing the type of object you're inflating (ball, bike, motorcycle, car) and the pressure units to display (e.g. familiar pressure in lbs. for those in the U.S.).

Caveat: I have not tried it on my SUV tires, so I can't yet report on how it will do at that higher pressure requirement.
