We have ordered this online twice now. Decided to go with the name brand and spend a few more dollars after reading reviews of people who had problems with their fridge not recognizing the chip. This one has never given us issue. Easy to install and after running some water through to get out the initial stuff it has worked great. Good tasting water and happy with the purchase. Ordering online saved a trip to the store and is the same one we would have gotten form the box store at the same price.

Expensive and the tag is a unnecessary gimmick to extract $$ from us. But, it works as expected. Someone needs to test the quality and check if this filters everything it is supposed to. that will tell us if it is worth the price. LOL

The media could not be loaded.
Just installed it so will know how it works in few weeks. But right now it was easy to install and working well. Taste is good. Filter design is nice and fits easily. Smell is good too.

These are pricey but worth it if you have a GE fridge. These are the only filters I have used on my fridge since we got it brand new 7 years ago. They consistently last 6 months like clockwork. My only suggestion if you are new to installing them is to be careful not to twist them, you will break the socket on the fridge and the filter too. Just swing it out and pull it out; insert the new one and swing it back in. You will also need to run 10-15 glasses of water through it after installation to clear it out. You may notice your dispenser dripping a little after changing the filter, this is normal and will stop after about 15-20 glasses run through it.

Is fit’s my refrigerator water filter it is same one I use to get it the store if they had them! This why I buy from Amazon now, when I put the last one on I order from Amazon and they show up quickly. This is a very good product and brand name water filter for GE, I highly recommend this product and it’s better price on Amazon!!

Fit perfect in my GE Refrigerator and had no problems taking out the old one and installing this one. The flow of the water is great and you don’t taste anything in the water such as particles or anything.
