SHAKE ONLY WITH CAP ON: Tip is removable and may fall out if shaken hard, only shake pen with cap on (note - Pen does not need to be shaken at all, instead gently pump tip to activate)

    It does a beautiful job. It’s not messy, leaves clean lines and looks great! We’ll see if it stands the test of time. I did buy extra tips per the reviews, but have yet to use them and I’ve done one whole shower and a bathroom counter

    For a simple DIY to revamp your grout, this works pretty great. I did a portion of tile, and it looks so much more fresh and clean than the older yellowed grout. However, after only a few swipes the grout pen tip fell apart. It’s still useable, but I just have to have a clean up immediately afterwards for all the excess line paint. Also, some lines required going over twice with the pen

However, if you're using it for a large area, the tip of the marker won't last very long. If you still decide to go with this grout pen, I recommend getting several markers or opting for a bigger option. Overall, it's a convenient solution for minor fixes.

    This is one of my favorite all time “ finds” on Amazon! I was downsizing to move to a smaller home. The white grout in the guest room was in good shape but just looked a bit off white instead of bright. I tried this pen and it is amazing! It really helped make the white tile sparkle again. Very impressed! Easy to use, no smell, no mess!

    Pen was amazing made our floors look perfect. Doing all of our tiles took 4 pens wide tip. Hardest part was trying to clean up the excess.

    Our bathroom was built in 1980, and needs renovations. Most of the typical plans of action involve dust and toxic odors. I tried this grout paint because our grout was yellowed and ugly (bleaching it didn't help), and a friend was paying hundreds of dollars to have her grout painted professionally. This grout pen really works. I LOVE it when a product really works and solves the problem. I highly recommend this grout paint pen. To start, shake it up a little bit, and press down on a piece of cardboard for a few seconds, and the paint starts flowing from the felt tip pen. Then apply, wiping the excess off the tiles with your fingers. It dries very quickly, and is set in 6 hours. Even though the paint dried on our hands, it easily washed off with soap and water. This has rejuvenated our tiles, and for about $9 and an hour of time. We just did the tile baseboard running along the base of our walls in our approximately 30-square-foot bathroom, and it pretty much used up the paint, so if you are doing a floor, wall, or shower stall, you are definitely going to need several of these pens. The felt tip did not disintegrate, but we had to shake it about halfway through to keep the paint flowing. I am so happy with the results.

    We have an original bathroom floor (built 1950's) with 1" tile. We have not been able to keep the grout clean, so I thought I would give the grout pen a try.
    1. It works, as you can see in the pictures.
    2. Because of the amount of grout, I had to buy seven pens to get to the second picture. I bought three more to finish it off which I have yet to do.
    3. This is time-consuming work. Because the grout was wider than the pen, I had to go over each grout line several times.
    4. The pen is frustrating. It starts off working well, then it needs priming which smashes the tip so you no longer have a fine line. This worked for me because my grout was wider than the pen tip, but it would be hard to keep a fine line otherwise. I finally started priming with my fingers to try to keep the pointed tip, but that only worked for a while. I even flipped the pen tip to try to keep the fine line, but eventually both ends were smashed.
    5. It was really hard to know if there was more grout in the pen, so I may have thrown away pens that still had grout, but it wasn't coming out, so I tossed the pen.
    I see this as a temporary solution, but I am thrilled with how my floor looks. I am not sure how long the grout will hold up, but this is good for now.
