Zip ties are always nice to have around the house. And when you can get multiple sizes and lots of them, it’s even better. But if the price is really cheap, beware. Now I like to bundle my zip ties up and put them in their own little places on the shelf I keep my Fastening things on. So let’s break this down.

I open the 6 inch zip ties bundled them together and then used one of those zip ties too hold them together… Not a problem at all.

The next one was the 8 inch zip ties bundled them together used one of the zip ties to hold them together and not a problem at all.

Then to the 10 inch zip ties bundled them together use one of those 10 inch zip ties and as soon as it got snug… POP! So I try another one, and it broke. Luckily the next one I tried tightened up fine and didn’t break. We will see how they hold up when put under regular use… I’m betting it’s 50/50

Now to the 12 inch and this is where it’s a problem. Pull them together bundle grab a zip tied to pull them apart, and as soon as I started pulling on it, that zip sound went away and it was smooth and I thought did it break? Anyway, pulled it tight and before it even got snug, the zip tie broke. This happened at least five more times before I went and got one of the 6 inch ones to hold this together. Everyone of the 12 inch zip ties I tried to use broke the little tongue that locks it in and then the zip tie itself broke… 100% failure.

I probably should’ve read some reviews but I didn’t so that part is on me. I will use these, but I’m not holding out a lot of hope and next time I won’t cheap out… I’ll go to one of the big box stores and get a decent brand.

I was in need of some zip ties for a project in my garden area. Instead of going to the big box store (100 for $3.96), I looked on Amazon and found these. I really like the assorted sizes, and the price is fantastic.

I guess I will take one star off for this but I am not even I feel that is the right step.

More just posting so others can be aware of the fact that, strangely, the 14 inch zip ties are not really 14 inches. They measure more along the lines of 13.5 inches long.

Frankly, I doubt that will impact many people at all to include myself. I just find it extremely strange that they chose to get something that basic wrong because there is no way people over making these molds, etc. got that measurement wrong accidentally.

It was not like I was trying to make 100% sure that they were the right length or something. I was just putting them in the bag I had of a few remaining 14 inch stay ties from another manufactuer and noticed they were shorter from this new supplier I used here.

I cannot yet speak to the quality of actually using these zip ties because I just got them.

Again, I doubt this will affect others or affect me for that case. Certainly no desire to return them either. I simply wanted others to be aware in case it is really important for someone else for some unknown reason.

This was a good assortment at a decent price. I didn’t see any meaningful differences between these and similar products that cost much more. A good buy.

Pretty straightforward. They come sealed in a single plastic bag per size, and also in a box for some reason, but anyway the count looks right and the quality is decent, so these should be fine for general purpose use around the house, etc. Tested a few, they seem to hold up fine to expected pressure. Great to wrap cords at home, keep loose chargers organized, temporarily keep a cabinet door closed, etc. Lots of uses, ideal to have in every house or car for general needs.
