5.0 out of 5 stars STURDY AND DURABLE

I was struggling to get my family room couch to stay connected to the other piece of the couch and could not find anything to help... until I found this. It is super easy to stick onto the legs of any furniture and I am seriously impressed by how strong they are. My couch does not separate at all anymore and I haven't had to replace the grips. It's been 7 months now and the couch still does not move. Quality is amazing for the price, this product is great for what it's intended to do.

TL; DR: They are made of foam, not rubber, and don't feel sticky when you take them out of the box. However, they actually stick on really well and keep things from sliding even when not used as instructed.

I'm using these for something a little more unconventional. I have hanging file bins that I keep stored in my closet for all my sentimental and important documents. They get pretty heavy (though still lighter than most furniture) and cumbersome to pull out of the tight corner of my shallow closet where I have them stored.
I decided to stack them on a cheap moving dolly that happens to be covered in carpet. Just one problem: Plastic does not stay put on carpet or on other plastic. They would slide around instead of rolling with the dolly. So I decided to try these sticky pads out.

First impression I was convinced that they were not going to work. They were not at all what I expected. I thought they would be more like a rubber pad with adhesive on the back. Instead, these are more of a foam, like that double sided adhesive with foam in the middle that you use to stick posters on walls, except here only one side has adhesive. They did not feel grippy to the touch at all. But, they were cheap, so what the heck? I might as well try them out.
Boy was I wrong. Despite my bins having raised edges for feet (the pads are only stuck on those edges and are not flush with the bottom), these guys really do their job. I have not had either bin slide off since I stuck them on, so they work great on both carpet and slick surfaces even with less weight and surface area keeping them there than they are designed for. Whole setup cost me less than $20 (dolly is from Harbor Freight) and rolls around nicely now. My back thanks you :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked as intended on clean surfaces

This product has worked flawlessly so far. The precut pieces fit perfectly on the contact points of my furniture. They have adhered and stayed in place with no issues. None of my furniture has moved at all and no longer makes noise when moving.

I read the negative reviews before ordering and I believe other purchasers either don’t understand how to use the product or they are not preparing the surfaces. NOTHING will stick to dirty items. Clean the feet of your chairs or wherever you’re going to stick these first. The same with the floor surface. Sweep, mop, vacuum or all 3 of those, the surfaces where the soft side of the pads will touch to give them the best grip possible. These will not help a floor covered in dog hair.

4.0 out of 5 stars These pads do not stick well

These were easy to install and great pads to prevent scuff marks, however, they don't stick well enough to last. These have been on for about a week and they are already coming off. I was very dissapointed. I purchased this brand because I was hoping the glue would hold better. Honestly, the cheap Dollar Tree brand held better.

I had a couple of chairs that were continually sliding out of place on a ceramic tile floor. Put one of these on each leg, and VOILA, no more slip/sliding/away!!! Highly recommend for this use.

Tried the slip pads on a ceramic dog bowl to anchor it on the floor. My dog would push the bowl around with or without the pads, although the bowl didn’t travel as far with the slip pads attached. I believe the pads will work as recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars They really work
Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2024
We bought these because every time my dogs jumped on the couch, they would send the couch flying into other furniture. We have hard wood floors and our lazy boy would slide all over. We have had them on for a few months and the couch has not moved. The only issue we had was that when we flipped the couch to put the pads on, when we flipped it upright we could not push it at all and had to lift it into place so keep that in mind when you place the pads. This product really worked.

5.0 out of 5 stars It worked! Yay!

My new loveseat/sofa would slide back any time I wanted to sit on the floor and put my back against it. Or just in general if I sat in it a certain way it may move back. It was driving me crazy. So I found these and since I've used Gorilla products before, I was fairly confident, but still, wasn't sure it would work.

But it did work! That loveseat isn't budging. I sat on the floor and leaned my weight on it and it didn't budge. I tried moving it by pulling on the back of it - didn't budget, unless I put some pressure to it.

I also used these on a chair, and as well I had a wobbly metal table and these took out the wobble, though I did have to cut them down for that. Wish they made smaller sizes!

I am so happy with this solution to my problem.

Easy to use. Could protect floors as well.

To consider:
-These may not stay on if you slide them across a rug - they could come off - the glue isn't super duper but I wouldn't want something that adhered too strongly anyway.
-If you want to move your furniture, it's going to be more difficult. You'll either have to pick up the furniture, or push/pull it with a little more effort (and the pads may come off but they stick back on), or remove the pads, move the furniture, and then replace the pads.

Recommend.
