They fit all the way around perfectly. In the middle of the two sets we just used some electrical tape to bunch the cord up bc there will be some extra cord if your plugging two in to each other. I posted a photo to show this.
We hung these around the inside of our porch. We ended up using outdoor command hooks that are meant for string lights. The cord fit right down in the hooks perfectly. I kept reading reviews trying to figure out how other people hung theirs but couldn’t find anything. So figured I’d share what we did in case it helps someone else. There are little hooks attached to the back side of each bulb, which is nice in case you want to hang them from wire, string or anything else. Each 25 foot strand has 12 bulbs on it. Theres two feet between each bulb. So we put the first command hook a little bit in front of the first bulb so that we could stick the wire in the hook and then measured two feet and put another one. Did this all the way around. We did put an extra hook in each corner to hold the cord down so that it didn’t look odd when we moved on to the next section.
It’s the perfect amount of light. Not real bright but not light and dull either. I posted some photos but they really don’t do it justice. They are gorgeous in person. I even walked out in the yard and took a photo and you can see it makes the porch light up so beautifully. I’m so happy I made the purchase. I kept questioning myself bc I was scared I’d have to many extra bulbs dangling or the command hooks wouldn’t work. But we cleaned the area real good and then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and then waited a hour before we hung the lights. Just like the instructions tell you to do on the command hook instructions. I hope they last bc they are stunning!!
Hope this helps ☺️
