Clever Design!

This device has a very clever design for taking body measurements. Easy to use, easy to read. After finding this at such a low price, I couldn't see any real need for a fancier and much more expensive digital type measuring tool. Works great for the purpose, highly recommended if you are tracking body fat loss.

**Update - after seeing my review the store reached out to me and sent a replacement. The replacement works much better so it would seem the first was “defective”. 4 stars for the product and 5 stars for the customer service.

I had a nice one but misplaced it so I ordered this one. The end slips out of the notch constantly while trying to measure and sometimes the button doesn’t work well.

6 MONTHS AND STILL WORKS FINE ..DURABLE

Creatures being that we are… with only 2 arms and not an octopus.. it is difficult for us to really get good measurements of arms and upper body.. but this little genius invention ???? has solved that problem with the close and press method to get the measurement!
I bought 2 and will recommend them to anyone. I have had mine for 6 months now and still works fine.
Improvements to make: you could offer them in other colors and.. maybe a bit better quality feeling.. however this is still a 5 stars for me!

This is the best device. It accurately gives you the ability to measure body parts with only using 1 hand such as your bicep and Lao makes it ridiculously easy to measure other body parts such as calves, thighs, stomachs or necks. I love that it hooks into the other side of the device and I can then use the button on the face of the device to resize the tape. This is way more accurate, and much easier to use, than just a straight measuring tape.

The width of the body measuring device is 2” which is why the measuring tape starts at 2”. When wrapped around and hooked into the other side it is 2” short of the starting point of what you started to measure. And that is why this tape starts at 2”. It’s not defective. It takes into account the size of the device when it is fully wrapped around and hooked into the other side of the body part you are trying to measure.

Great for measuring inches, BUT Wish the tab could lock in

I love that the tape is longer for those of us who are very big and tracking our inches lost.

I know for myself I had bariatric surgery and the scale can be a bit of a monster, refusing to drop, while inches could be melting away.

One thing I do have to complain about is just how easily the tab at the end of the tape will fall out of the groove when you're in the middle of measuring. I wish there was a little locking mechanism or even a magnet to keep it in place because when you're shortening the tape so it's flat against you to get an accurate reading, it loves to just pop out and you have to start all over.
