We have a family/community cemetery in which I have to measure out locations for new graves, or locations for old graves to mark. I did not have one of these and had been using a measuring tape. I found this, and after searching and reviewing, I decided to make the purchase. The price was competitive, it came with a backpack holder, and a small measuring tape. This is perfect for me because the pack makes it easy to store and to carry when needed. It is easy to read and use. The wheel runs well over bumpy terrain. The only thing I find annoying is the needle that points down from the wheel. It is needed and I definitely wanted it, but I find it's annoying because it is so loose that it continues to swing back and forth for a few seconds before settling to point. I kind of wish it had been static - it should point to the ground, center, when the wheel stops without me waiting for it to stop swinging. But - that's just me. Also, as some other mentioned, the kickstand is kind of useless. You can see it propped next to the door. It leans, holds it up if properly balanced on a flat surface, and is sort of useless on terrain; I don't expect to use it. For all the rest, it seems sturdy enough for my needs, it is accurate, it is light and easy to use, and the wheel runs perfectly. This has been a wonderful addition to my Job pack.
