What a concept, an easy to use, easy to read measuring tape. It seems to be well constructed, and well built. East to lock the tape, and it stays locked. I expect it will last a long time.

These hands down out last Stanley Fat Max they are more durable. Clean and clear numbers and lines. Actually reaches out to the number stated before flopping over. They can get wet multiple times and they are trash. I cant understand why they switched to their newer version because they suck and are 25% more money. These need to come back to the market.
These Actually last Fat Max are a joke and way over priced.

I bought this to replace one I had that was no longer working properly (but I’ve had it for like 10 years) and this one is significantly heavier though it has the same measurements. Not necessarily a bad thing but it caught me off guard. Works fine otherwise
