The plunger was great! I only give it 4 stars because you have to assemble the plunger. It's kind of gross because all the crap water gets into the space where you screw the two pieces together and it just sits there until you clean it. I think a 1 piece design would be better. But other than that it worked perfect.

I never expected to ever write a review praising such a 'lowly' item like a toilet plunger - but here we are. I ordered this to try to fix a problematic toilet - we have called plumbers in in the past to de-clog this toilet, and cost us $120 each visit. This time thought I would try to fix it on my own -- I first tried a normal plunger, to no avail. I then thought to see what was on amazon in terms of a 'super plunger' and found this. It worked like a charm - in 5 minutes I had the seriously clogged toilet unblocked. The item is easy to use and put together -- even for a dummy like myself who has trouble doing simple mechanical tasks. It was amazing. Thank you to whoever invented this. I am ordered another one for our apartment in Greece,.

So I bought a new house recently and like all people, I have to drop one occasionally. Either I'm setting size records or the plumbing in the new house isn't as "wide" as my previous house because backups are constantly occurring at the new place.

Anyway, I bought one of these a few years ago but the new house has one more bathroom, and when the toilet backs up, I really don't feel like hunting through the house for a plunger to help push my turdle droppings through, so I like to have a plunger in each bathroom ready for action when needed. I like the accordion look to it and when you get enough water into it and then push that down, those blockages clear up pretty quick.

Don't get me wrong, I've needed to use plastic knives in the past to cut up the "kids" after I dropped them off at the pool but I don't have that kind of patience nowadays. Heck, one time I dropped one so big that it nearly destroyed the toilet at a friends house. Then there was another time when I swear, I had a vein popping out of my forehead because it took all the might I had to push that sucker out. All of those needed "assistance" to flush but none of them would have stood a chance against this plunger. I highly recommend getting at least one of these!

Toilet clogged and the typical plunger didn't work. Ordered this accordion plunger which arrived the next day. Literally two pushes with the plunger got rid of the clog and it has yet to come back!
