The little arm that adjusts our bathroom sink plug broke, so I needed a quick solution that would let water drain while still catching anything we drop in the sink. I found this gadget thinking it would be a temporary fix until we got the real repair done. But now, it’s turned into a permanent solution because it works so well!
We just popped it into the drain, and it looks and functions great. To close it, you just press it down, and another quick press opens it back up. When it's open, water drains smoothly, and when it's closed, the sink fills up without leaking. It catches everything we drop, and cleaning it is super easy.
One thing to note is that the opening isn’t very high, which might bother some people because bits and pieces can get stuck at the top instead of washing into the catch cup. Personally, I don’t mind this at all because it's still keeping things out of the drain, and it's easy to remove and clean. Plus, the lower height helps stop small items like jewelry or pills from slipping into the catch cup along with the hair and other debris.
