    This Gardner Bender Circuit Analyzer - Outlet & GFCI Tester is super easy to use. I just plug it into the outlet and the LEDs let me know if there are any of the 5 most common wiring errors or if it is wired correctly. It also tests my GFCI outlets by plugging it into the outlet and pushing the button labeled "Press for GFCI test". This activates the GFCI and then I have to push the outlet reset button. It already helped me find a surge protector that had an open ground. I am happy with this purchase.

    This works very well. It is as small as the non-gfci tester, yet it has a gfci test button. Plus the price is good.

    We use this tester to check outlets to make sure they are wired correctly for plugging in our grounding sheet wherever we are. I love that there is a key on both sides of the tester so it doesn’t matter which way the outlet is situated, we can see which lights need to be lit up for correctness.

    You can read this whether your outlets are pointed "up" (ground on top), or "down" (bottom ground). And his has a printed legend on top (where the GFI check button is) and on the bottom. It's well made, and easy to grip. I wish the color were a bit brighter, it's a dark shade of red. But that's nitpicking.
