    “The 12x24x1 Air Filters by Colorfil are fantastic! They were delivered quickly and arrived in perfect condition—no damages at all.     UPDATE: Almost a YEAR later, we are still using the same filters I buy them in the larger bulk, and delivered every 3 months. The quality is still just as great as the first time! Customer care is on point! 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

    I was skeptical at first. And as some said, within a few days my filter did start to change from this beautiful bright pink to a dengy pink or salmon like color. I decided to keep it in longer to see if it would indeed turn yellow. I did not receive a pamphlet or a magnet like others have stated, so I just went off the online description(s). On about the one month mark we replaced the filter and sure enough it was yellow through n through. We could have left it in a longer as the description states, but I was curious to how long the second filter would take to start to turn.
    For reference, we have 2 dogs, 2 rats, and 2 large cats. So there’s a lot of dander n such in our home. I have 5 children 2 of which are on the spectrum w severe allergies. We now have in filter #2 on month 2, and has been in for about a week. Still bright pink and OMG the difference in my AC unit! We’re in AZ where temps are as high as 115/120. I had to keep my air at 69 in order to cool it properly w the old filters (we have a quaint home of 1450sqft, 3 bd, 6 ppl and our fur babies). We now have it at 77 and it is very comfortable. My ac is not working as hard, there is a huge difference in the quality of air and virtually no orders (pet Oder isn’t an issue for us. But there is a lot of cooking and other smells in the house that sometimes USED to linger) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! WILL CERTAINLY BE BUYING MORE FROM THIS COMPANY!

    Update FEB 2021: I recently changed my first set of filters after I had them in for 2 months. I liked them so much that I bought a dozen more. I wish Amazon would allow for the custom sizes so I can order them here, but I was able to order direct from their website. I can really noticed a difference in smells in the house. I normally smell stuff that others don't and I feel there is a noticeable difference. These also do not stress out my blower motor or slow down the air flow even though I was used to using a lower merv rated filter. I was using the lowest merv rating for a pleated filter which is a 5 or 6 I think. It also could be that these are working better because they are an exact fit in my furnace compared to what I was using which were a little big maybe. Since I got the custom size I was able to get an exact fit so there is very little if any air going around the filter. After the 2 months I took the filter out to change it and it was still slightly orange in color and not completely yellow. My house is pretty clean though as I use room air cleaners in all my rooms. I'm actually so happy with these filters I might consider ditching some of the room air cleaners and just changing my furnace filters more frequently. I have upped my rating to 5 stars since I felt confident enough to order a dozen filters, which will last us a year for our 2 furnace system if I change them every 2 months.

    Update OCT 2021: I got contacted by the manufacturer and they offered to make me two custom sized filters at no charge and send them to me. I was blown away by their honesty. I upgraded my rating to 4 stars on that alone and will further update once I get them.

    We have lived in this house for 12 years and I have bought many different 16x25x1 inch filters. Some are a smidge smaller so you don't have to fight with it to get it in and out but our opening is 16x25x1 and the guard to keep it in place is 1/4" on the top and bottom so when I slide this in the top is flopping free and would easily get sucked into the furnace. How dumb can they be? I know that the sizes are not exact and a little smaller but this is even a smidge smaller than what is mentioned for the actual size.

    I really wanted to try this to help have more clean air but unfortunately these will be going back. This company should know better. 16x25 should only be a smidge smaller at most or they should not sell it as a 16x25 filter.

    This is a great product, keeping down pet dander, and I also have one in another house of a smoker and it really soaks up the tobacco smell. Overall, a great product worth it I highly recommend
