    We purchased two new garage door motors for our garage recently but only 1 opener came with each motor for its respective motors. We have three people that needed openers so the other two got an opener for a door and I tried just using the app to open the doors and not need a button. That worked for just alittle while until one of the doors wont' connect to the app any longer. I was told my the Overhead technician that this was the best door button to buy. I was able to program both doors to the opener in about 3 mins. Super easy and I've had zero issues with it.

    Ordered an extra controller to put in our other car. I got the same Genie brand as the openers on both garage doors, and using the included programming instructions, had it programmed within 10 minutes. It pays to match the brand of remote to the brand of opener. I tried some generic openers and didn’t have any luck, this one was much easier and more successful.

    Buying OEM parts for missing is always best. Switch quickly adapted to my Genie opener, and works great from a long distance.

    I received the item on time. I read the instructions, which were clear and concise. The remote works perfectly, and I have no regrets with my purchase. I was willing to pay the price for this item, and since it works so well, it was worth it.

    Bought this product for an Overhead Door brand, Legacy 800 Model 2026 motor. Was unsure if it would work. However, Overhead Door owns Genie i believe so i took a shot. Press and hold the Learn Code button on your motor for 3-5 seconds. It started flashing red. I got down from the ladder and per instructions moved 5 feet away and pressed & released the button i wanted to program on the remote once. Than twice and i believe it was the third time it opened the door. Viola, all done. So to summarize, easy peasy and yes works on Overhead Door Brand, Legacy 800 Model 2026. Also fits nicely on my keychain, for size reference it is a little bit smaller than my car remote.

    I have used these openers for my Genie garage door opener for many years. They work well but do not last forever as they are subject to heavy use. Easy to pair to opener and easy to add to your key ring. Batteries are easy to replace and last for a reasonable amount of time. I’m not a fan of the cost to replace the openers but in Genie’s defense their prices are competitive with the other options, I just wish there was a cheaper option. Overall I would recommend these replacement openers for their quality, longevity and easy battery replacement.

    I ordered these, arrived quickly, took a minute to set for my garage door. Fast forward and after a new garage door opener was installed, I was pleasantly surprised that I could easily reprogram and continue to use these!
