    This is a small and stylish lamp that puts out more light on the brightest setting than other cordless lamps we own. That is not to say that this is a reading lamp. It is still primarily for ambiance or a night light. We also like to use it when the electricity goes out in the winter. I do recommend it with one caveat, that being it uses a unique bulb.

    The first lamp I ordered arrived with a smashed bulb. I thought it would be no problem to just get a new bulb, but I was wrong. The exact bulb isn't available anywhere and others that could possibly fit were only 1 watt instead of 2 watts and cost as much as the entire lamp. So I returned the lamp and got a replacement. This time the bulb arrived intact and the lamp is working great. The bulb is rated for 25,000 hours so I should never need to replace it.

    I'm not really an expert regarding cordless lamps, since we have our sconces which were installed by my husband and we played with them, which we have a set in our living room, and a similar pair in our bedroom that are fully charged, and not used since we are using them with a fully charged batteries on both set for use during power outages that are common at night during the Winter. This is a new luxury to me and other than one other one this is my second time using this type of rechargeable wireless lights. I think this one is easier since I removed it from the box and watched the website and this one was easy for me to assemble myself. I noticed that this was charged and easy to figure out since there's only a couple of steps that set this apart from my other one. I think this one is much higher quality as far as how nice it's linen lampshade makes it look nice enough for use in our living room, but is a space saver. I noticed that the bulb is easy to be replaced if it had issues which it doesn't compared to our other smaller one. I noticed that this lasts much longer since a six hour charge which easily can be done with the USB cable it comes with. I love the button that gives three settings going from lower to medium to highest brightness. I don't think it's too bright but with it's elegant shade looks nicer. I have it on a shelf in my living room plugged in since its less bright than our lamps. I won't speak to whether it works well for reading since I read with my Kindle, but I noticed before I moved it in our living room and had it on my nightstand that I have a lamp with a brighter LED bulb that is brighter and at night we use just a candle while watching a movie when winding down before bed. I am going to order another one to have a matching pair in my living room. We have two torches on each end that we use for needing the brightness, but we watch T.V. without a light at night. Since we have an open concept the kitchen light stays on until we go to bed this light is more for power outages or used on dim. I'm happy that I'm learning more as I use these this one is superior to the other smaller night light one I have. The battery fully charged lasts longer than I thought possible since we shut it off when we went to bed. So this is worth reordering out of the two I've had. I like knowing that this one is a long running one after charging juxtaposed with it looking nicer I'm thinking of buying one for my sons room since this over exceeded our expectations making this one to put in every room. I highly, highly recommend choosing this for its longer lasting battery and it's classy aesthetic making it add an accent to blend in any room in the house. Plus the bulb is replaceable.

    I’m updating my review ????. I forgot that the lamp probably came half charged as it did turn on when I screwed the lightbulb in and rated this a one star as the highest brightness looked super dim. The lamp died a few days ago and I had been using it on and off for the past eight days for a few hours at a time so that in itself is impressive. When I charged it all way and turned it on I was startled at the brightness and then realized I was only getting half the power ????. The lamp shade is wobbly after being screwed on. It is secure once screwed on but does wiggle when you move it. It comes with a usbc charging cord but no wall charger so you’ll need a usbc charger. I want to get another matching one. This is perfect to have when you want to treat yourself to a hot bath soak and a good book and cold drink ????. It’s a perfect nightlight and lamp for a desk, bedroom, anywhere you want it and it’s cordless! No worries of being electrocuted in a bathtub ????. Wouldn’t recommend putting it in the tub with you though!

    I ordered two of these little lamps; one arrived with a broken light bulb, and the lamp itself has not worked. But the other one works, and is a great little extra light source. They're not very bright, and I wouldn't recommend it as a primary light source, but rather as a sort of aesthetically pleasing supplemental or night light.

    This lamp is so modern and elegant with the skinny barrel shade. While mostly a light color, there are a few dark fibers that highlight the basket weave pattern in the fibers and gives it a high end linen look. Putting it together is such a breeze. That simply entails flipping the shade over from the way it comes shipped and screwing one piece on to hold the shade in place, and then screwing in the gorgeous LED Edison-type bulb that it comes with.

    I was really surprised that this rechargeable lamp takes a normal LED bulb. Most rechargeable lamps have a much cheaper lighting element-- like a motherboard style disk with nodes attached to it or those wirey string lights hidden inside. This, however, uses an actual LED bulb that you can replace or use elsewhere.

    THE BATTERY! I turned it on right out of the box, and it has a responsive raised button that is touch controlled. Tapping will allow you to go through 4 total settings (OFF --> LOW --> MED --> HIGH). If you tap and hold your finger on the button, the light will gradually get brighter. Repeating that step will make the light gradually get softer. As I said, I turned it on immediately upon opening the box. This was at around 7pm last night. I put the lamp on a table in my hallway, on the low setting and forgot all about it when I went to sleep. It was still on at noon this afternoon, and it likely would have stayed on much longer but I turned it off when I left. I am VERY impressed with the longevity of the battery right out of the box.

    This is junk don’t waste your money. Received the first one with a broken lightbulb inside the box, and received a replacement today the exact same way., the lightbulb is in a little plastic bag with no protective packaging.
