    I bought these flashlights—one for my daughter for her different experiment and the others as gifts. This set comes with 4 AAA batteries.     After using these flashlights for several outdoor camping trips and during a few unexpected home power outages, I can genuinely say they've become an essential part of my gear. The compact and lightweight design makes them easy to pack and carry, without skimping on durability, thanks to their solid construction. I was particularly impressed by the waterproof feature and the five different modes, which proved incredibly useful in various situations, from navigating dark trails to finding my way around the house in the dark. The zoom function is a nice touch, allowing for focused light when needed. Battery life has been impressive, outlasting other flashlights I've used in the past. All in all, these are reliable, versatile, and stand up well to rough, outdoor use or any emergency you might find yourself in.

    Bottom Line: This 2-pack of flashlights from A and P are relatively cheap. The various modes are annoying to use and the lights are fairly dim.

    Neutral:
    - Each light takes three AAA batteries that are also included.

    The Good:
    - The flashlights have the ability to zoom in and out. This is a great feature that I use regularly.
    - The outer body appears to be all metal and fairly durable.

    The Bad:
    - The lights are fairly dim. They are bright enough to illuminate an area close to you, but it will not be very bright and will not do a good job on far away objects.
    - One of the flashlights came with a broken o-ring around the battery compartment. They are thin and not durable.
    - The modes are very annoying. You have to press the on/off button multiple times to get to the normal mode, and it isn't consistent. Sometimes I can get the normal mode 2 times in a row, and sometimes every 3-4 times. You never quite know what you will get when you turn it on. There are rare times where the other modes might be nice, but 95% of the time, I want to just turn on the flashlight and get a normal, nonblinking white light. Manufacturers should move those other modes to a separate button.

    TIP: Once the flashlight is turned on, you can gently press the power button part way to cycle through the different brightness levels and modes, then press the button all of the way to turn it off.

    Overall, they're not terrible flashlights, but you can find better ones at a similar price point.
