    I am often out at night hunting bugs. I am a macro photographer and night time is our prime hunting time. I have been through a ton of flashlights over the years. This one is top of the charts. The beam is very bright on the highest setting, I cannot use it for my purposes at that setting, I have it set in the middle of the options for light and it is still quite bright but perfect for my needs.

    The charge seems to last forever on this unit and they shipped it with a battery that you can plug a USB-C cable directly into bypassing the need for a separate charging unit. This is a great idea. More should head in this direction, imo.

    The overall build quality is outstanding. It is machine solid metal and all switches function smoothly and flawlessly. There is an adjustable clip included that allows for multiple configurations as well. The overall size and shape make for a very pleasing experience while out in the field using it.

    This is a superb, compact, powerful little light that makes taking it anywhere you want to go very easy.

    This is one of the first rechargeable lights I tried and then I tried a bunch more. None were better. For my large hand this light is long enough to feel comfortable. I wish the pocket clip were deep carry so I chose to use lanyard and throw it in my pocket. Lanyard makes it easy to pull out.

    What I especially like is it is easy to operate, no overly complicated UI here. The firefly mode is also excellent and used often. Honestly low mode does enough in most instances. This thing is bright and just feels quality. The knurling is super grippy and the matte black finish just looks amazing. I’ve dropped it a few times and can say it survived unscathed.

    I bought 9 of these at Christmas time--one for each of my children and their partners, one for a nephew, 2 for grand-nieces. Everyone was delighted with their gift. This flashlight has special features, like a strobe light, for example, and appears to be very sturdy.

    Time will tell if it is long-lasting or not, but it is Wirecutter's runner-up for best flashlight. (Their top pick is the same brand but a little brighter and more expensive.)

    I have bought cheaper flashlights from Amazon before and discovered that after a few months of limited use they stopped working.

    This is a great flashlight, haven't reviewed for battery life or night vision as I just received it. Small, lightweight, very bright and I like that you can switch between different brightness levels as needed. One thing that should be improved is the instruction booklet in the packet. No instruction at all on what batteries it takes or how to put in the flashlight. I have similar ones, so just guessed by size and configuration that it was 2 AA batteries and how to put them in. Thought it was broken as it would not turn on when I pressed the button on the bottom. Turns out I had to also press a tiny silver button located on the end where the bulb is located. Instructions do describe that this button switches the brightness and switches to "firefky mode" and to switch to Strobe Mode. However, you must press it to turn on the light initially as well. This was not described at all in the booklet or on the box. Just some feedback for purchasers who are less patient and won't experiment to figure out how to turn it on. Other than that I am happy with the flashlight. It is on the pricy side, so will review again if battery life or any other items are not to spec.

    It has four brightness modes, from extremely dim to OH MY GOD TURN THAT THING OFF. Seems to be well constructed, comes with a lanyard and a clip. Impressive for its size. Recently purchased, so I can't comment on battery life yet, and I'm using rechargeable batteries. You turn it on with a push switch on the base, and change modes with a push switch on the head. Only 6 1/8 inches long and just a little wider than a AA battery.

    I looked at several flashlights to replace the Anker LC90 I had purchased years ago. After reading and watching reviews, this looked like a good choice. In all the video reviews, it included a rechargeable battery. Apparently they no longer do. A selling point for me was getting a flashlight with a rechargeable battery that could also take 2 AA's in an emergency ( for the same cost as buying a new battery for the LC90 ).

    Initially I was going to return it, but thought I'd put batteries in it, it is a flashlight, and compare it side by side to the Anker ( which is taking overnight to charge but only working about 30 minutes ). It doesn't hurt to have a spare.

    It is really a poor value. It is nowhere near as bright, and paying the same price as for a flashlight which would include a rechargeable battery, it is really ridiculously over priced. After using it for several weeks side by side with the LC90 and one other brand I have, I've asked myself if I would pay ten for this, and it's a hard no. I think it should be about seven, max. Paying over twenty four for a small dim flashlight that didn't even include batteries makes no sense. I should have gone with my initial instinct and sent it back. Perhaps the rechargeable battery originally included in the early reviews put out more power/light? I have NO idea. I still have a need for another flashlight, but it won't be this brand.

    I bought this flashlight several months ago. It worked fine for about 2 months and then suddenly stopped operating. After checking the batteries and contacts, I notified the manufacturer through Amazon. They responded with a list of suggestions, all of which I tried to no avail. The company immediately responded to send it back for a refund or re[placement, my choice. I sent it off, sent the company a photo of the FedEx receipt, and I had my replacement within 4 days!! It's a great flashlight; I've also bought the single battery size, and a wonderful responsive compnay. I strongly recommend both!
