Wry good quality. Quieter and not hard to install. Just make sure you don’t hurt yourself when installing the very bottom one. Lift the door all the way up and lock it with something so it doesn’t slide down, then remove the cable and replace the roller, that way you don’t potentially get hurt from the cable tension when the door is all the down.

5.0 out of 5 stars EASY INSTALL, SMOOTH OPERATION
Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2024
After researching competitors, I chose these because they are 6200-2RS bearings, as opposed to 6200-Z or 6200-ZZ. These 6200-2RS bearings have rubber seals on both sides of the bearing to reduce dust, dirt, and corrosion, enhancing durability and smooth operation. The 6200-Z or ZZ bearings have either one or two metal seals, which are not as effective.
Watched a few YouTube videos, followed the recommendation to remove the hinges one by one EXCEPT the bottom hinge. Easy DIY process to mark the location with a sharpie, unbolt the hinge, replace roller and reinstall hinge. Bottom hinge is done by fully raising the door, slightly bending the track, and slipping the roller out, WITHOUT undoing any bolts. Reinstall with new rollers, bend the track back in position. I also took the time to thoroughly clean the track with 'Purple Power' degreaser, then re-lube with 3-in-1 Garage Door lubricant spray. Also adjusted the top rolled to better seal the top of the door.
Now super quiet, total job about one hour. Well worth the investment.

This was my first time changing out garage door wheels and what a different it makes. The door is much quieter and smoother. They were relatively easy to install. Not simple but definitely not overwhelming. I would purchase again.

Compare images of rollers I received today with the images in the seller's listing. Taken before installing on second door. Installed a set yesterday. Easy job and definitely quieter than the 30 year old all steel bearings they replaced. Good value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! Easy/cost-effective way to quiet your garage and extend the motor's life!

My garage door was installed years ago, before I bought the house. I always tried to keep the track lubed because the old metal rollers didn't seem to have bearings. But it was still pretty noisy when opening/closing the door.

After watching a YouTube video on how easy it is to replace these (and safe), I decided to give it a shot. They only come in one size, but you can select a color (who cares?) and the number of rollers you need. You do NOT have to take your door off to replace these and you should NOT (ever) mess with the spring mechanism (potentially lethal and NOT required for this project). Find a video on YT and watch it. It took me about 10 minutes. The only tool needed was a socket wrench and a sharpie to outline each bracket so you get it back in exactly the right spot.

These rollers have bearings (so they don't depend on lube in the track) and they have polyurethane wheels instead of metal. The door is noticeably quieter and smoother now, and that's gotta be good for extending the life of the mechanism.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars and Easy DIY

I had the best experience with these nylon rollers and sealed bearings. The fit was excellent and so easy to install because I was also replacing the lower side rails at the same time. It went like this first I pulled the cord to disengage the drive motor assembly, a must unless you are looking for a serious injury from the tension springs. Take a picture of your hinges so you can replace them in exactly the correct roller housings. From there I removed one side rail and that allowed me to remove and replace all of rollers on that side with the lower rail off. I cut off 1/4" off of the new rail before finally installing the rail. The reason for that is my rails were badly rusted where they touched the concrete. It snows in MN and salt will rust your rails. Spray bottom of the cut off rails with WD-40 to seal the cut rails. They no longer make contact with the concrete so they will never rust. Mark the location of your sensors to be able to reinstall more quickly and accurately. Move over to the other side and and repeat. No need to completely remove the rails from the walls, just where they make contact with metal. These rails are supposed to be installed at an angle closer to the garage door opening at the bottom, to close the tightly. If you want to really put the cherry on top of your job one can also install locking plastic sleeves on the stems of the new nylon rollers to make your garage door close to totally silent. Between the replacement of the lower side rails, replacing the 2" nylon rollers with the locking plastic nylon sleeves on the roller stems, it's as possibly silent as a belt driven garage door can be. The price for silencing the garage door was easy and incredibly reasonable especially for a couple of DIY hours. Five Stars and extreme personal satisfaction!
