Discovered that using this on the threads of the UV sterilizer that keeps water out. Also extended the lights life to 2 years. Yes a simple solution and saves money.

Outstanding Tape That Stopped Any Leaks Whatsoever!

I recently purchased the VOTMELL teflon tape to use when installing 4 new faucets throughout my home. I was nervous about taking on this project myself, but this tape made the installations a breeze with no leaks whatsoever!

I simply wrapped 3-4 layers of the tape around the faucet threads per the instructions. The tape was very easy to work with - not too sticky but molded perfectly to seal all the connections. I then screwed on the water lines and other fittings with confidence thanks to this reliable tape.

After turning the water back on, I was thrilled to see the tape worked perfectly! Not a single drop leaked from any of the new faucets despite lots of pressure testing on my part. The installations look very clean and professional thanks to this quality plumbing tape.

With 520 inches per roll and 4 rolls included, there's plenty of tape to complete multiple projects while still staying budget-friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the VOTMELL tape to anyone in need of an effective leak-proof solution for faucet installations. 5 stars without question

Wrap faucet brass if aluminum hose ends

Wrapping your outdoors brass faucet threads can protect them from fusing and sticking badly or permanently(!!!) if you have aluminum hose female fittings. Some genius corporate decision-maker decided brass hose connectors, which won't fuse to your brass faucets, are too expensive, so began using aluminum to cause customers to need to replace hoses more often. It can seriously damage your brass faucets to purchase and use aluminum hose fittings. But when you need hoses, sometimes aluminum is all you can find. If you wrap the brass threads at least 15 times with this pipe thread, it will protect them for a good long time if you do not remove your hoses often. It is still recommended to unscrew them at least twice a year to make sure they do not fuse.
